Best Carnivore Diet Rankings, Benefits, Side Effects & Experience
Red Meat, the ‘enemy’ of most modern diets, is said by more than 100 of just the last decade’s headlines and nutritional recommendations to hurt human health. Is this true? Are we carnivores? If so what’s the best carnivore diet? What are the best carnivore diet supplements? These are just a few questions we attempt to address in our assessment of what some are calling the “best evolutionary diet.”
This is an argument that is significant today especially as extreme diet groups grow in popularity. Are we the best carnivore people or naturally are we vegetarians?
So much is out there saying that red meat is bad vegetables is good, vegetables are bad red meat is good, and every other kind of option it all so confusing. I know we are botany group primarily but the world looks to us for the cutting edge diet info so here is our take on the best Carnivore diet.
What are the conscious aspects of animal food? Certainly, many factors of evolution and Carne’s place in it, are ignored and the balancing factor to that rather a depth pitfall of ignorance seems to be Veganism.
“Ignorance Destroys the Soul” – Immortal Technique
Being the best diet information on the net and the popularity of the Carnivore diet, we wanted to evaluate and hold the best discussion on the best all red meat diet, known today popularly under the title ‘best Carnivore’ and ‘best Zero Carb’ and if whether or not a red meat diet is best. Jordan Peterson who is controversial enough, a man who already made his name facing an overzealous authority, came out a proponent of the all-red meat diet, saying that it cured his health issues.
One debate that falls at this fork in the road is; if its ketogenic activity or red meat nutrition or the two together and if so how much of each?
⚠️ With any changes in the normal diet, one should consult as many health professionals and do as much independent research as possible before any type of experimentation. What goes into you determines largely what comes out, and this makes what goes in most important. Take responsibility for your health. The vast majority of other people of your own species for some reason (we won’t get distracted by now) will hurt you and take from you in the end. #1 rules: keep your circle small, routinely test everyone in it, accept the answers from those tests (it may be very difficult) do your own homework, go to nature one day a week. Take care of yourself, nutritionally, sleep-wise, and make absolutely sure to intensely exercise.
“Just remember, it is unfortunate, but today; people are generally harmful.” – MastaBrus
Much of the argumentative support for the plethora of diet lies and the historic validation provided by what little stupid people with Ph.D.’s from modern education in biology know about the thriving, healthy and beautiful Native culture and knowledge we have destroyed; has been completely fabricated, totally miss the mark, are riddled with errors and based on supportive study riddled in errors and it ends up that most of this library is really best discarded.
But humans and their science are way too ego-invested to simply throw the last century of mistakes away like that. These people in the actual field of plant and animal studies are famous “nature science retarded or Prone to Hainiouse Disaster” from a really confusing focus on dissection rather than confection and are usually put on a “touch anything restriction” for their first 6 months on this tribe. This “letting go” is necessary in order to become the new age in performance and ability we are destined to achieve.
The mistake of ‘diet expertise’ that seems to prevail with no hope of a solution, that will just ride the fence of payment and suffer, a fence-line that separates our survival from our own complete demise.
The Natives of the cold country left for us an example that has prevailed to repair modern diet heresy. In too many ways Native prophecy and the small amount of wisdom and knowledge that remains – that bled through some of the most atrocious human genocide in human history; are now our best lamps on the journey to overcoming the plague of conquest.
According to naturalist and explorer Walt Whiteman, The Inuit North Arctic dwelling tribe (Eskimo), where a perfect specimen of physical and dental health was found even in the elderly. These people were on a red meat only diet, high in whale fat, thought to be fat adaptive,” or ketogenic dieters who really didn’t ever eat a significant amount of carbohydrate.
“Nutritional ketosis” is thought to be one of the symptomatic roles of the diet involved with these once very healthy people. We will get into that with regards to a “carnivore diet” in just a bit.
Food vilification has always been interesting to me, but the red meat vilification of late more than most, because coming from New Mexico, a place heavily rooted in Native American culture, and mostly Native reservation land, I always thought to myself that ” the Native people have been eating buffalo all those years, and it was one of the most precious, powerful and effective foods many of the North America tribes went to.” So how can this worshipped animal that was consumed by these people and provide for clothing and shelter for so long be bad for us?
The animal still roams there, and there is not a lot of food sources in the desert. When one gets to thinking about it, it is not hard to arrive at “I could eat a buffalo or a horse.” We ate our horses in New Mexico reservation life too.
In a science book entitled, “Guts and Grease: The Diet of Native Americans” by Sally Fallon and Mary Enig, Ph.D., a great detailing of how also bone, fat, and organ were traditionally eaten and that special meals were known well for each part of the beast in traditional preparations. [1]
While this book does not look at whether or not certain times of these meal consumption were calculated, such as time of day or such as times in relation to physical or creative activities, it does show our ancestors making every possible use of their red-blooded prey.
Jerkey was a thing, and we know the Inuit dried the whale blubber too.
With consideration for the thousands of testimonials, describing the natives throughout America as strong healthy good looking individuals to include their elderly; one can assume Native’s relationship with nature was strong and therefore these people likely held a greater knowledge than we do about how to use it.
They definitely held greater respect for the animal that is for sure.
Let’s face it, we see the monkey as lesser intelligence, but the monkey requires no dentist, no supermarket, no pill, no doctor, etc.
We have separated ourselves from natural knowledge and adapted a new mechanical knowledge in which we base all things. Most of the time these mechanics, require chemicals.
I am inclined to believe a person who had meat and organ meat and bone broth occasionally with a highly diverse amount of other foods could be consuming the best diet.
Most New Mexican people eat beef every day, it’s Cowboy country, Billy the Kid’s old stomping ground. Green chile, Beef, chicken, and turkey were the staples when I was growing up.
To support and even rebuild joint tissue of my own, in my experimentation with a meat-based diet, I am going to eat ears, bone powder, bone broth, and to feed and support my organ system I will eat organs, like livers, lungs, and hearts.
I am going to do this because my ancestors did it this way. I am also going to do it because I have not done it before.
Here in the beautiful Republic of Panama, I can buy the whole cow. Its harder in the states to get all the animal parts but it can be done.
Bison and goat meat has risen in significance and popularity.

Shawn Baker’s Carnivore Diet is a revolutionary, paradigm-breaking nutritional strategy that takes contemporary dietary theory and dumps it on its head. It breaks just about all the “rules” and delivers outstanding results. At its heart is a focus on simplicity rather than complexity, subtraction rather than addition, making this an incredibly effective diet that is also easy to follow.

CARNIVORE EXPERIENCE
Old school doctors from my neck of the woods (desert) would laugh at a vegetarian. In the desserts and plains a vegetable-only diet, let alone one of the NDdiet standards is going to be pretty hard to achieve. It would certainly be achievable though. Also if achieved in the dessert could really represent a stronger concoction than ever before being the species are stronger having lived there life in the harsher environment. Next in that line of thought would be a very high diversity of the two. What does the actual nutrient situation look like of these two ideas compare?
I myself do appreciate the vegetarian’s study of only deriving their nutrition from the soil and would never knock a vegetable eater. I myself and a solid and true omnivore, and to be a focused human jungle athlete I must eat it all.
I am all the way open to other elements and foods and animal foods also. I don’t believe in vilifying any food – I stick by the Nutritional Diversity diet as the ultimate health diet 10000% and it’s the credo that getting a wider, fuller, diverse spectrum of foods which is very important. All of these materials can be cooked and worked with even seeds and beans but I figure that would never be necessary for a hunter who would feat every now on then on an entire animal.
In dynamic dieting, this feast week or month depending on the size of an animal could be seen as a zero carb, or carnivore diet cycle.
This being said I am also in support of food timing, and what I mean by that is, at certain times of the year, or for certain types of activity, or treatments, certain dedicated diets like the “best Zero Carb” or “best Carnivore Diet” can totally function optimally for specific goals such as weight loss, leaning out, sexual function restoration, etc.
As dynamic food consumers, like any other animal in nature, we should know these options.
Remember that cow farming methods are most important when selecting beef. We recommend going directly to the farmer or the butcher and double-checking the cow farm source where the cows come from.
Meat feasts separated by gathered goods in high diversity as the God-garden naturally is, and also the occasional fasting, called in by from circumstances, is likely the format of increments in paleolithic and evolutionary times.
One introductory thought on the topic is that if carbohydrates, which consist of processed foods, bread, pasta, root tubers that must be cooked at length in liquid to eat, and grains or rice that also must be cooked in liquid to eat, as difficult food states in the most basic way, could be reduced to a much smaller portion of (compared to modern elementary educational rations) their diet, which goes for dairy products too, they may right then and there gain freedom from heavy digestion lag.
I did the Carnivore month, which was this past February 2015, and rode out a ten-day gym cycle on the Zero Carb all red meat diet, and I would say my body did okay after a few attempts and backing off of the keto flu carbohydrate withdraw when I just could not take the time off from work.
Then I did it again in 2016, and I am doing a heavy red meat diet now during the quarantine and lockdown of April 2020 as I update this piece for you.
Traditional Meat Diet
Red meat has always been a powerful food, and anyone who has eaten a liver, and thigh piece after a workout, or on an empty stomach, knows the nutrition contained both in that organ, and muscle is strong, for one example.
The debate between Vegan and vegetarian and the meat-eater has been a lengthy one. I believe that a short stint of both extreme diets can yield results. Likely a hunter-gatherer would feast on meat when he caught it, and during the times there was no catch, he would then gather leaves seeds and berries during times where nothing had been caught. In natural times when humans lived in more a more harmonious way with nature, it is said that crossing rivers one would be pelted with fish, and the lands came stalked with so much wildlife and big bison no humans would ever go long without the feast.
Humans are amazing, we can live off of garbage for years, many of us are proven test subjects to that.
A Nutritional Diversifist to the bone, I also recognize that if you fast, and study one element, the longer you study the more amazed you will become at the layers of it. This piece of material you have eaten your whole life, but never really known.
Being someone who got to know plants this way mostly by myself (most of the world is not ready for the guy to say “let’s go get to know plants one by one together,” without looking at you like your crazy), I was excited to do it with red meat inside of a community of others doing the same. I think to do a ketogenic, Inuit Eskimo modeled diet that excludes carbohydrates and plants is also important in knowing carbohydrates and plants.
Bodybuilders and athletes who depend on their red meat, know it’s a food that can be depended on.
A Nutritional Diversifist knows that meat is certainly one type of superfood, because he is tune with his body, and he or she has a food test result.
One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating. -Luciano Pavarotti

CARNIVORE DISCUSSION
Orthopedic Surgeon and World Record holding New Mexico athlete, Dr. Shawn Baker in a Joe Rogan Podcast that would lay spark a ready-made kindling with historical references and ignite Carnivore Culture to a whole new level, pointing out that all traditional tough guys, the Mongols, the King’s Guard in London who were nicknamed ‘the Beef Eaters,’ the Native Americans, all ate-meat diets.
The arctic communities simply could not survive without animal products and neither could the Native Americans in the region of the great U.S.A. and Canada. Several confirmations of the meat keto movement lie in these indigenous group’s history.
Eating meat also gave the ability to travel to new ecologies and ecosystems that they may not know.
Another point is that the wild meat, supply was great and would have been sustainable for many times over the 60 Million Persons that were reduced to five hundred thousand by the ‘founding fathers.’ Then the newly arrived heartless Europeans went and killed off the incredible food supply to feed their hunger for furs, leaving the true essence of the animal to rot and produce armies of flies.
Modern Meat Diet: Carnivore, Zero Carb
Many Zero-Carb dieters have found through their own research several ancestral populations who seem to revere the cow as a holy food, that is exactly meant for them. I have maintained a 60-100% cow meat diet since Feb 1, 2017, and I am feeling pretty good with it. To write this section has taken several months. I am in and out of ketosis, shooting for ten days keto runs and enjoying my neighbor the chef who will undoubtedly pull me out of’ ‘nutritional ketosis,‘ happily every now and again.
The Aboriginal Argument
Dr. Steve Dr. Phinney, the father of nutritional ketosis makes a presentation that details what humans learned since the Paleolithic period and 1500 years following, which follows an indigenous pursuit of high-fat foods.
One pound of dried protein and fats per day liberated certain ancestral populations, some of which even became whalers to get the great fat source. A highly greased, and sugared, whale blubber was a preserved ration that could be backpacked and work for two days in travel or stay, digesting well and providing impressively supportive nutrition to a routinely insane journey.
Nootka people living on Vancouver Island served berries, and meats covered in oil. Tall strong, lean, buffalo eaters of the East Coast United States reason even raised the brow of Thomas Jefferson who requested a group of Native American specimens from the tribe to further evaluate this tallness and denseness they possessed also assuming that buffalo consumption must have had something to with these results.
Dr. Baker set out to find if after eating meat a year, he would be perfectly healthy and even interestingly be scurvy -proof; and then set two more Guinness Book Records in Rowing.
MIT, where Pinney obtained his Doctorate in Nutritional Bio-Chemistry, later did a very interesting, in-depth look at this Inuit diet, with serious cyclists who showed that total removal of carbohydrates, had little effect to their health and performance. The doctor goes on to make an Alice and Wonderland analogy to the implementation of no carbs dieting, that once implemented the user falls down the rabbit hole and realizes “there is no need to consume carbohydrate foods.”
While I do agree with this, his is not my conclusion, I remain open to using the different foods at different times including the benefits of both total fasting and strategic selection.
Ultimately Phinney is suggesting that a sufficient meat-based protein, high fat low carb diet is the consistent diet across most of these tribes and a very functional one at that.
In a 2017 presentation on “Recent Developments in LCHF, and Nutritional Ketosis,” he also brings up new studies on sodium intake, and how there is also plenty of misguided information directing us all very incorrectly about salt.
The rule of thumb in the modern ‘Zero Carb’ movement is, if you want more movement to eat more fat, and if you want less movement to eat less fat, as a bowl speed toggle function. Dr. Phinney points at upping salt intake to help with many aspects of any ketogenic diet plan (plant or meat-based), and I would imagine that this would also factor into a more regular bowel movement. In the red meat testimonial pile, it is an excepted feature for many practitioners to have smaller movements as little as once or twice a week.
They say that there is no need to pass all the indigestible, plant material and this is the reason for less waste. Does fiber become unnecessary with an all-meat diet like this? I do think so, in the case of red meat keto.
While surely the earth has seen a plethora of harvest rituals throughout time, the strongest survivor of harvest rituals in the modern-day knowledge base is the Kosher harvest of meat.
This red meat harvest ritual’s volume, ventures to suggest the red meat animal is a sacred animal and is ideologically blessed with a deep spiritual presence to be thanked.
The ideology may be with respect to a real functionality, one which has more science behind its effect than one would think – but that is another section in living food dynamics entirely. What does it mean to eat only the sacred meat? People are finding this out in distinctive trending study groups today.
The chain of process argument is interesting, that by eating meat, we have a soluble transformed available and uncased, or accompanied by the raw essences, directly translatable food. I wonder if eating carnivorous animals provides even better-formulated protein and fat provision and quality versus plant protein quality to some degree? Is the step from eating plants to eating animals who eat plants, an advantageous one in terms of performance, quickness, and strengths? In this line of thinking potentially the top shelf Nutritional Diversity Diet, would be one of the different animal products, from animals who fed on a Nutritional Diversity of plants? Certainly the ultimate of which would be simply a wild animal, something this earth is in drastic shortage of.
Certain studies indicate that fat is the cleanest burning energy source and that fat and protein, are the two main courses you want. One pointer at this conclusion is that that the body converts carbohydrate into sugar before it is used, so there is a bit of added step there for carbs. If it is true that procession, uptake, and percentages of the utilization of animal meat, organ and bone is far superior to that of utilizing plants, well, what is a warrior at heart to do?
And let’s just think about this. In Paleolithic times of gathering, small amounts of the plant material would be eaten throughout the day, somewhat as the pace in which it was collected. This also coincides with the school of thought that small increments of food throughout the day maintain a nitrogen balance, and some also believe that a constant supply of chlorophyll, makes for better mood and performance; in the plant-eater circles.
In times of hunting obviously, they would consume one, or two, or three, giant meals (or more depending on the size of animal caught and the number of hunting party members, wives, children, tribe, etc.), because the hunted food would go bad quickly, possibly drying some meat, would take place. Plant collection would happen mostly because nothing had been hunted or caught, an animal would likely be the preferred meal – it’s more filling.
Competitively, I would imagine a group of carnivores outperforming, and even out evolving a group of herbivore vegetarians. If one group of equal numbers was to attack the other, in either case, I see likely the carnivore group leaving the situation victorious.
To know only meat, or the only plant would be limiting, as both obviously can sustain human life for a very long time. Limiting would also be to know a small group of plants or a small group of animals. I think of a Nutritional Diversity diet as the ‘no limits diet.’
My point about paleolithic reference is that hunter-gatherers would have most likely eaten as much as they could from the hunt, and at a time when there was plenty of game and this could have played a key role in human survival without technology. This was a time when all they had to know was nature, and they probably knew it very well.
Not many today know the ways of the ancients, those ways have mostly been mysteriously lost. To the depths nature was once known is totally lost. The journey to get it back maybe the most important journey of all yet, it has little journeymen.
Modern Meat Trends
Depending on your social culture contrasting attitudes about meat consumption are available. In the cowboy culture of the Wild West, cattle still enjoy meaningful lives, and steak is a way life, likely so is a rodeo and the occasional bar brawl. In the hippie-dippy country of Costa Rica where new alternative permaculturists set out to loose their American fortunes trying to make this new thing they read about work and show the world a better way; meat consumption is frowned upon. Both sides have loads of articles to back up what they have to say.
If we want to get some information about people who actually experiment with the stuff and log it all in like science, the bodybuilding community is the group and they do have alternative non-meat bodybuilders also. I myself love the enthusiast dedicated and thorough information from the bodybuilding scene, although I myself am not an interest in pretty people clubs – I am going for strength and ability.
I regularly have red meat in my athletically oriented Nutritional Diversity diet, and in modern meat research, I have found most of my weighted answers in bodybuilding studies and ketogenic diet experts who use animal fats and proteins, and also certain meat enthusiast athletes such as those I discuss below.
The modern humans in the last 30 years have progressively eaten less and less red meat, and eat far less red meat than most traditional humans.
Just recently a new remembrance of the likely old formula has come back, and I like it when that happens. The modern version of the meat craze is called “zero carbs,” and this is because to do a zero carb diet, you do it from animals only. This may be a lesson in itself.
I have been slowly but surely ramping up my red meat intake to support increased training and because of a trip to the city where glyphosate is in everything except hopefully the wild grass-fed beef, and now that I am in Chriqui where great beef is cheap, here goes one month of zero carbs starting today.
The funny, catchy comment of the meat movement is that “my animal eats the grass, and the plants, not me.” One thing I will point out about the animals who eat plants, they eat them all day long in small increments that could measure for many species upwards of over 100 meals a day.
Feast v.s. Fast & Meat Diet Increments
New Mexico based Dr. Shawn Baker has been on a meat-only diet for a year, and after exploring many of the popular diets, feels healthiest with a meat-only diet.
He also feels that with the information he has looked at grass-fed beef, if not that much better than the beef raised in more production for-profit mechanisms although, there is a dynamic principle there on that topic I think Dr. Baker is missing, buts that’s another article.
Here in Panama, luckily most of the beef is grass-fed, and I can buy every part of a cow easily and conveniently and at great prices where I am here in Chiriqui. Feast one, two, or three meals is his recommendation for Zero Carb eating, in line with how we would have eaten wild games in the paleolithic period.
What I loved most of the Dr. Baker interview, is that he didn’t care anymore about the broken down tests and the blood work results anymore, he cared about the way he felt. He is also clearly another Doctor who is realizing the high failures of the current way we look at and treat patients generally through the health care industry.
There are several schools of nutritional science thought that conclude a large feast, and then an elongated rest and processing of the feast, and then the activity is the best way to consume and exert.
Vincent Anselmo Gironda (November 9, 1917 – October 18, 1997) a professional bodybuilder, personal trainer, author, and owner of the celebrity-frequented Vince’s Gym, was advocating a predominantly egg and steak diet. His nickname was the “Iron Guru.”
I know I write about bodybuilders here a lot and it is because they are some of the more schooled nutritionists, and most achieved nutritional experimentalists of our time. I could care less about the pretty boy club, and bikini’s myself, but no doubt physical tourism, and bodybuilding circuits form a modern gym national and international leg bone that is due it’s respect especially concerning nutrition and potential. Arnold Schwarzenegger, today’s American house name on the subject said he found 5 to 7 meals his adequacy and also eggs and meat together for breakfast and a juicy steak later in the day.
Vincent’s ‘stone-age diet’ was based simply on that the vast majority of nutrient consumption for the past 100,000 years or so has been in the form of saturated animal fat and protein, with fat taking the larger percentage. The balance was made up of things that could be eaten in a raw state such as vegetables, berries, some fruits (in season), and nuts. That’s basically it. It has only been fairly recently that man’s diet has shifted to a diet of high carbs – bread, kinds of pasta, candy bars, sodas, etc. And we grew fat and sicker and weaker after that change was made.
Dr. Baker pointed out some interesting physiological statistics that he knew of that said meat-eaters are less likely to care, more likely to smoke, more likely to drink, more likely to be risk-takers. He went on to say that the test results that are used to vilify meat consumption are largely over-exaggerated, or misguided.
The modern mega informative channel that is Joe Rogan, in the December 2017 interview with Dr. Baker made sure to point out that taking a militant attitude about your exercise is going to be the ultimate thing to make you live longer and more vibrantly, which the record-breaking 240lb athlete Dr. Baker concretely agreed with. After a year and a half of the diet, Dr. Baker claims his recovery capacity has never been what it is and can train hard 7 days a week no problem at age 50.
The Anderson Family
Mrs. Anderson was diagnosed with Lyme disease a condition in which she could only eat red meat. The family was shocked that the demonized by all health industries red meat was the only thing giving her health.
The simplicity of the diet is loved and enjoyed by kids most of all because of the way all these good meats taste. The family together noticed that beef, was the most satisfying and that’s what they eat the most.
Switching to an all-meat diet comes with a two week adjustment period where the body tries to clean out other supportive microfilms and lock into an all-beef engine. During this time he experienced some headaches and ill-feeling. Joe Anderson says that for him it was important to go all meat and get rid of eggs cheese, and whey.
For 17 years the family continued to eat a diet consisting almost completely of red meat and have no plans to change. Photos of the family look amazing, but the family has requested they be removed from the internet because of the hate and harassment and death threats they have received from animal rights fanatics.
In a Tap Genes piece Amy Glassman, a registered dietitian at The Clare in Chicago admitted that “meat is more easily digestible and the vitamins are more readily available than within vegetable-based protein, like beans or legumes.” She continued to say that meat and animal-derived products, such as dairy or eggs are actually the only food sources of the B vitamins for humans, which is why vegans and vegetarians can often have a difficult time obtaining these vitamins, essential for muscle and neurological functioning. She added that meat is “very satiating” because of the protein content, which may keep you full for a longer period of time. This is a point satisfaction that Mr. Rogan remarked could be linked to primal DNA satisfaction of ancestors and the total quench of hunger and happiness combined when biting into a juicy steak has been a shared human high point across a very long time.
When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the light, for your life, for your strength. Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason to give thanks, the fault lies in yourself. -Tecumseh
So I visited an old-schooler here in Panama of seventy-some years old, who does not engage with the internet for fear of misinformation disinformation and confusion, who always gives me these crystal clear instructions from his opinion of my life. This man is wise. He is honest, completely.
“To be totally honest is a unique skill.”- Mayhem Miller
A person raised of no parents basically, I have learned well to latch on to old-schoolers who can tell me right. For the Meat discussion, he told me this to look up Farley Mowat.
Farley Mowat
Farley Mowat a distinctly intelligent-looking man, who passed one day after Cinco de Mayo 2014, age 92 was an environmentalist writer from Canada whose works were translated into 52 languages and sold 17million copies. Born of intelligent fighting, war veteran, librarian men, and strong women in the family, courageous Farley put himself through cabin chapters where he lived off rats and faced down wild wolves, to be later named a ‘Champion of the North,’ by the New York Times.
His 45 works both fiction and nonfiction are loved or hated, and Farley Mowatt regarding his book ‘The Desperate People’ in 1959 had the same New York Times calling the author who has certainly made his mark, ‘The Angriest Young Man in Canada.”
“People of the Deer,” was his book and attempt to aid the sometimes starving Inuit People and the struggles they faced. He blamed the government and traders for the ruin of a once-thriving tribe.
RT Media did a killer Documentary called ‘Children of the Tundra,’ which explains a nomadic cold weather tribe, who prefers their culture and way above all others shown in modern society. There is a lot we can take from things and principles of Inuit people who ate primarily a more or less keto red meat diet of mostly deer.
So the other name my ‘old head’ (this is the Philadelphia version of ‘old schooler’) gives me to look up is Stillman.
Dr. Irwin Maxwell Stillman who is seemingly the predecessor to the Adkins ideology. I have found several modern sources in my research advising against the diet, which is a book on Amazon for $57.99. I almost feel if there is a small army of articles against something that seems evidence or reason, it is likely also valuable.
I wasn’t really able to find any overwhelming source bright shining light while looking into this guy’s stuff, but he has the case study showing that people lose weight and get healthy cutting out carbs – the root of most carb-cutting diet philosophies.
Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Herculean’ meal plan used to bulk up for the movie Hercules was well covered by a 2014 USA Today special by Bryan Alexander where the ‘Rock” detailed a very low carb diet but still with some rice and potato, high protein fish chicken and beef plates. Like Arnold, he did seven meals, ending in a dozen egg whites at night.
My good friend Dr. Daniels here in Panama agrees that to stack on weight, as Dwayne was trying to do, coupling the meat protein with carbs is a great way. I saw Dr. Baker make this statement too and it won me over for credibility that he was not prescribing 100 percent for everybody and everything, like a fanatic. Now after years of application and self-testing, I have learned to toggle “the glue,” a term which my study has coined in reference to carbohydrates. the glue in the stomach that sticks muscle on could provoke heated debate with CarNaziVores.
She also finds a face fold syndrome in powdered protein users like Dwayne and she told me “conditions arise in other areas after the powdered product consumption for some reason and one sign of it is face lines around the mouth.” She continued to explain that bone and cartilage soups such as pig ear (chosen for the very low cost of the culturally undesired product that usually thrown away), are really helpful in this area.
Several of the all-meat diet testimonials I have looked at so far, indicate rapid leaning down, and concerns of too much weight loss on the 100% meat-only diet, which I am sure many would not expect. It would seem to slow this process and keep stacking, the carb-coupling is a useful tactic.
Of course with all evidence indicates the increasingly large percentage of calories consumed as refined carbohydrates is positively correlated with the increased incidence of metabolic disorders such as type 2 diabetes, and the studies of the Inuit people there is every reason to just cut out carbs for a while.
My old school southern brother from another mother, here in Panama, shockingly knew all about 100% meat diet treatments to get healthy and lean up. He is hardcore a person who did do 20 years in the military.
Mr. The Rock Johnson has not commented that I have found at all on a pure meat diet, and the idea is certainly not from any recent tradition and is contrary to most recent health recommendations, so most people are unfamiliar with the concept.
Different types of proteins digest well together while different carbohydrates do not. This could say all we need to know on the subject right there. These zero carb meat freaks believe that carbs are just unnecessary food. Try to tell the Irish that.
At the same time, Nutritional Diversifist **could look at either a potato famine or only being able to eat meat, both as mental limitations caused by ignorance of nature study. Which is unnatural in itself, and essentially by whatever means or intent; the truth has been hijacked and distorted and the lie, sprinkled in truth is forcefully redistributed for the purposes of slavery.
Just in case your wondering if I am all the sudden sold on the all-meat diet, and ready to forever give up the miracle plant essences I know so well; no I am not. Although I will share this argument:
Paleontology evidence shows that when humans switched from hunting to farming the average height decreased by six inches.
Meat has none of the downsides, previously mentioned and is complete nutrition as evidenced by the many human cultures that thrive on meat alone, like the Inuit, Masai, and Siberian Reindeer people.
Any extra vitamins and minerals you think you’re going to get by supplementing plants is going to be more than negated by the anti-nutrients. Meat is complete, optimal nutrition for humans.
Weston Price said of the Inuit People, “in his primitive state he has proved an example of physical excellence and dental perfection seldom exhibited by any other race in the past nor the present. We are deeply concerned to know the formula of his nutrition.”
Do I think this ‘carnivore diet’ may have a brilliant purpose within my year or years? I very much do.
Carnosine is known to play a role in the up-rate of androgen receptor sensitivity, according to Dr. Baker is the more sensitive the androgen receptors the more pronounced the clinical effects of testosterone will be seen.
Carnosine is found in meats, particularly red meats, and does a good job of mitigating the effects of advanced glycation end products which are heavily associated with aging and things like dementia.
He says that heavy training and eating less frequently are other things that, have been shown in studies to increase androgen receptor sensitivity. [x,x]
He made a very interesting point about the hormonal effects of the red meat diet being increased ability to have and maintain an erection and sexual performance, a truth I have verified in my trials.
Women who were unable to get pregnant have been able to simulate menstruation and fertility through this diet. This is seriously interesting, and makes a clear statement about red meat consumption.

CARNIVORE RECAP
Healing has been reported in many sizes and shapes with protocols from the basic Carnivorian concept.
Aggressivity and strength are the principal characteristics reported by testers. The diet itself seems to support the hunter’s idealogy.
Can I just get the whole Ancestral set? Yes. Yes, you can.

Anti Plant Communities Testing of the ‘Zero Carb’ Formula
The “Zeroing in on Health Facebook Group” has 16k meatheads, raving all over butter covered steaks, and claiming that plant matter is stimulating through molestation, using it’s plant toxins like lectins and saponins. Plants are harboring specific substances we know to be lethal such as ricin, and nicotine. Let the animals decipher the plants, and us decipher the animals in a logical progression relative of the character’s level of intelligence.
Turns out even there are plenty of research papers that find things like the ‘phytates’ found in beans, grains, and other seeds act as anti-nutrients that block proper absorption of iron, zinc, calcium, and other minerals. They are a leading cause of poor growth, anemia, immune system incompetence, and other health woes in Third World countries where plant-based diets are the norm. Found increasingly a problem in First World countries where plant-based and vegan diets are widely considered luxurious, trendy and healthy. The ideology in the end, with the meathead community, is that humans can live on plants but at a price whereas with meat, is perfectly digestible and free of the anti-nutritional or toxic elements.
My other next thought here is that building resistances and dealing with plant fibers and toxins and essences can be some of the best feelings and treatments I myself have been able to tap into. there are plenty of studies also that support plant-based diets, such as those indicated that cruciferous vegetable consumption builds strong digestive mechanisms. I do not believe in limiting my own self from any of the food elements, but instead of living out my full omnivorous potential as I please. I do believe in food testing and keeping an open mind. I even eat mud sometimes.
We do however need to be wary of certain hormones that could be used throughout the life of the cow or the animal. Domestic farming practices have become very well worth protesting, and outright
Other things to look into, that the anti-planters might talk about are ‘Oxalates’ are indigestible compounds in foods that prevent the proper absorption of calcium. Contrary to popular belief, oxalates are not significantly neutralized by cooking. The foods highest in oxalates are the heavily consumed soy protein, spinach, and rhubarb. William Shaw, Ph.D. proposed a scare that many health-conscious people now eat a gigantic spinach salad every day, thinking it’s the ticket to good health. Instead, it can be a ticket to kidney stones, vulvodynia and other oxalate-related health problems. This is all still arguable stuff, like everything in ‘modern science’ it would seem, I bet Dr. Shaw would not argue the point with Popeye, though.
The truth is there are plenty of indigestible compounds in cooked and in fresh plant materials and in a high fiber plant-based diet. This material brooms the intestinal tract and keeps things clean and moving. I have one of several different diet models in the Nutritional Diversity Complete Guide to Human Optimization, that works on a large and heavy plant fiber ratio, and I mean works like a charm -for everything. I sleep better, I move better, I have tons of energy, my mood is great, depression gone, and in the worst of circumstances.
What some of the meat masters argue is that, some of that fiber from plants can get stuck and not digested in the colon. This sounds to me like a potentially sound statement and if it is true, a chapter in time of the all-meat Zero Carb Diet could allow the body to burn out any trapped material there. Under this food state theory avocado, egg, banana, dark chocolate, and some non-heavy-fibrous food state consistencies would be acceptable, to do a bit of a border-lined entry to the complete meat.

Best Cordyceps Mushrooms, Benefits & Experience
Best cordyceps mushrooms are a genus of parasitic fungi that grows on the larvae of insects that have been mentioned since the days of old Ancient Chinese herbal literature and used over Centuries as the cure to 21 different ailments in total. [1]
They work as fungi that attack their insect host body and as the larvae grow the slender stems that grow inside and outside the being take control of the caterpillar or other host and guide the creature into a dark damp place where it can go into a spore production cycle fulfilling the final biological destiny of procreation.
Here at our study center in Panama, we call it “Zombie Powder,” and only effective stuff earns nicknames around this place. It is a Zombie stamina increase too; the substance will definitely help keep you going, in our experience.
Since we started incorporating these fungi in our routine we clearly incorporated an output multiplier as several performance markers really went up across the board for testers, namely stamina for non-endurance athletes. This is in our own research and testing and only this way can one really come up with accurate consumption guidelines.
“If you want to put it out, you have to put it in.”
The remains of the insect and fungi are then hand-collected, dried, and used to treat fatigue, sickness, kidney disease, and low sex drive.
The best cordyceps mushroom supplements on the market today usually do not include the insects and are grown using alternative mediums.
Ophiocordyceps sinensis (renamed 2007), Sphaeria sinensis grows on the larvae of the caterpillar Hepialus armoricanus Oberthur. Traditionally the caterpillar and the fungi are consumed together.
There could be several different versions of the particular species, such as those collected in Bhutan. [2]
I often wonder in the garden if extreme strength or ability can be made from the foundation of extreme nutrition – of course, it does.
Nutritional Biodiversity Diet Model Basic: Our entire idea here is to form a minimum of 60 species, highly diverse, strategicly designed nutrition plans derived from non-monoculture cropping systems, and measure up dramatic increases in performance
Okay, let’s get into the best cordyceps mushroom supplements available.
BENEFITS
Lab tests and Centuries of use suggest the best cordyceps promote anti-aging and sustained youthfulness, exercise performance enhancements, and heart health.
Several great athletic tests have gone on with this fungi species and the clear result of performance enhancement is there! It’s great also because we get to see a model for our own athletic nutrition testing of the NDdiet. (x)
Best cordyceps athletic test findings support the belief held in China that Cs-4 could improve oxygen uptake or aerobic capacity and ventilation function and resistance to fatigue of elderly people in exercise. [3] This is a great supplement for older people.
Cordyceps have effects on both innate body immunity and adaptive immunity, furthermore, cordyceps also feature a modulatory effect on the stomach’s overall immune system, which may further influence systemic immune function. These same scientific examinations and studies show cordyceps fungi types to be anti-tumor acting medicine, as well as protective effects to the kidneys and anti-hypoglycemic effects. [4]
Swimming tests confirm fatigue resistance and I am a big long-distance ocean swimmer, so this is important to me. [5]
SIDE EFFECTS
There is a wealth of testimony out there now to the great effects that these best cordyceps are having on people. There are not too many side effects reported and the amount of existing documentation for studying use is immense. [9]
You may not want to take the best cordyceps if you have a myelogenous type of cancer such as AML or CML. Cordyceps mushrooms have been shown to increase the proliferation of red blood precursor cells, who arise from the same lineage as the cells that cause myelogenous cancers.
Or, if you are taking insulin or other blood-glucose-lowering medications as cordyceps may have an additive hypoglycemic effect and so blood glucose should be monitored.
If a drug is taken that has a “blood-thinning” activity, cordyceps may further increase the risk of heavy bleeding. [6]
Likely recognized initially for the appearance of animal transformation into a plant, this fungi-insect relationship as a food has been thoroughly investigated and used in ancient Asian cultures. [7]
Learning and memory improvements were dynamically shown through supplementation animal testing describes as
This is an interesting study where model, where learning and memory impairment was established via injection of scopolamine hydrobromide and the effects of different doses of Cordyceps polypeptide, delivered intra-gastrically were investigated physical tests such as a maze, the measurement of several biological indexes in the serum, and brain tissue of the mice, and the identification of differentially expressed genes and the related cellular signaling pathways. The results showed that Cordyceps polypeptide could improve learning and memory. [8]
Drink more water while taking a cordyceps supplement.
EXPERIENCE
There are some indications that cordyceps fermentation could produce a much more stunning set of results. Possibly cordyceps kombucha is a worthwhile experiment for the team. [x]
Abstractly, when I think of how the next generation spores would find new caterpillars, it must be a combination of intelligently chasing new colonies of the caterpillars with the zombie caterpillar body and maybe even intelligent flight of the spore to the new larvae? It’s hard to imagine a species of fungi that survives this way. Such an incredible species it’s no doubt the two possess together such marvelous medical miracles.
Our cordyceps experience is just beginning, but we will be sure to update this section as that experience grows in knowledge, scientific confirmations, and new discoveries.
Powdered cordyceps should not be mixed with oils, and should be mixed with dense fiber foods that can bind to the powder. Blend thoroughly.
A dose too heavy can cause intestinal pains and constipation.
I had some candy-coated cashews the other day that tasted just like them. Someone gave them to me, as I haven’t not been doing seed foods for a few years now.
It has been noticed that one week to 30-day intensive consumption has great benefit, and it has been felt that 30days could be the best end of the cycle for this consumable.
We find the substance most favorable for running and swimming.
DISCUSSION
With the best cordyceps product ranking, we were very pleased to find great availability for this lesser-known and lesser emphasized age-old superfood.
Bulk Supplements Company is a great supplier of pure well-made and authentic supplements and they offer a cordyceps product that we tried and it was amazing! Very effective athletic performance supplement we are very thankful to have in the “go box.”
General user satisfaction is exceptionally high with this product among all manufacturers we ranked.
✪ Update! Today November 17, 2019, as an ode to Paul Stamens and hearty thanks for his new book to include the shared discovery of the mycelial brain networks on the Joe Rogan Experience (#1385); we talk benefits, the best cordyceps available and possible benefits and side effects that come with their use.

Ultimate Fighters Are Considered Ultimate Athletes : What is the Ultimate MMA Diet!?
As the sport of Ultimate Fighting, otherwise known as Mixed Martial Arts or MMA for short, grows in popularity, many sports enthusiasts have described the fighters as ultimate athletes. A sport where players take more risks and get put to more demanding tests than other athletes in other sports. This kind of ultimate performance should have a more robust diet then too. Let’s check out what could be some of the best MMA diet information ever constructed.
Just so happens we can tell you the ultimate diet, that no one quite has sited in yet. Also, the ultimate fitness & nutrition coaching that you need.
Here is a fun one for you, we asked the A.I. to build us the ultimate diet for a UFC fighter.
Here is what it gave us:
Designing a diet plan for a UFC fighter requires careful consideration of their training intensity, weight class goals, and individual needs. Here’s a sample diet plan that can serve as a starting point. However, it’s important for the fighter to consult with a sports nutritionist or dietitian to tailor the plan to their specific requirements.
Note: This sample diet plan assumes the fighter is in a training camp and has a moderate to high training volume.
Meal 1 – Breakfast:
- Oatmeal with mixed berries, nuts, and a scoop of protein powder.
- Whole-grain toast with avocado.
- Scrambled eggs with spinach and bell peppers.
- Freshly squeezed orange juice or water.
Meal 2 – Mid-Morning Snack:
- Greek yogurt with honey and sliced bananas.
- Handful of almonds or mixed nuts.
Meal 3 – Lunch:
- Grilled chicken breast or lean turkey.
- Quinoa or brown rice.
- Steamed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, asparagus).
- Side salad with mixed greens and olive oil vinaigrette.
Meal 4 – Afternoon Snack:
- Rice cakes with almond butter.
- Carrot and celery sticks with hummus.
Meal 5 – Pre-Training:
- Grilled fish (salmon, tuna) or lean beef.
- Sweet potatoes or whole-grain pasta.
- Steamed or grilled mixed vegetables.
- A small serving of fruit (apple, pear).
Meal 6 – Post-Training:
- Whey protein shake with water.
- Banana or other easily digestible carbohydrate source.
Meal 7 – Dinner:
- Lean protein source (chicken, turkey, fish) or plant-based protein.
- Quinoa or brown rice.
- Steamed or sautéed vegetables.
- Mixed salad with a variety of colorful veggies.
Meal 8 – Evening Snack:
- Cottage cheese with mixed berries.
- Herbal tea or water.
Important Nutritional Considerations:
- Hydration: Stay hydrated throughout the day by drinking water regularly.
- Protein: Ensure sufficient protein intake to support muscle recovery and growth.
- Carbohydrates: Include complex carbohydrates to fuel training sessions and replenish glycogen stores.
- Fats: Incorporate healthy fats from sources like avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil.
- Vitamins and Minerals: Eat a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables for essential vitamins and minerals.
- Timing: Consume a balanced meal containing protein and carbohydrates before and after training.
- Weight Management: If cutting weight for a specific class, consult with a nutritionist to create a safe and effective weight-cutting strategy.
Remember, every fighter’s body is different, so it’s crucial to adjust the plan based on individual preferences, training intensity, and dietary requirements. Regular monitoring and adjustments, preferably with the guidance of a professional, are essential for optimal performance and health.
The extreme performance and extreme nutritional need make it very interesting for a nutritional botanist concerned with athletics such as myself to look at these fighters’ diets. Over the course of this year, I have taken an in-depth look at two of the ‘ultimate, MMA guys,’ their diets, and their hired nutritionists. I have also discussed how the Nutritional Diversity diet can help establish a baseline guarantee of nutritional coverage for any athlete and any fighter.
I can talk about MMA cause I have done it my whole life, on the pavement too many times for free! I am born and raised in Albuquerque – to the bone -, and I am personally coming out of the most victorious MMA camp in the world.
I can talk about diet cause I work currently in Panama on the cutting edge diet today in the world.
Remember that without enough water, your performance, your results, and your technique will not improve!
Us real people we like to hear from people who do it and not just say it. I prefer someone who says nothing and does their work dependably over all other types. Speaking of too much gab – let’s get to it.
Finding the Ultimate MMA Diet is not so easy…
What is the best MMA diet to have behind you to support killer MMA training? What would it take diet-wise to step training to a new level?
MMA fighters suffer serious injuries regularly, and they need to have all the bases covered. If what they say about your nutrition being the largest part of your success and performance is true, what exact nutrition plan will I employ?
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses – behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights. -Muhhamed Ali
Whether or not you are an MMA fan, you have to admit a Mixed Martial Arts Fighter is a tested athlete who must be dexterous, and well rounded on stamina and strength, well engaged in mindful focus, that must be fast and able to switch gears and rhythms on the flash.
His or her joints and bones need lots of support both nutritionally and conditionally to take that kind of beating they take in the ring or octagon.
A fighters mind needs to be firing on all pins to see and defend the diverse set of attacks that could be coming at them.
Fighter Diet
Clearly, when it comes to the pro’s and doing things right in this MMA sport, the MMA diet nutrition has to be a science. Many nutritionists, trainers, and athletes claim food is the biggest part of the equation contributing to the final performance.
This science of biology and food conversion is ultimately a science of love, and of how to take optimal care of ourselves. To start, I want to take a look at what I can find out about what these top MMA guys out there today eat for their MMA diet, and see about getting together the beginnings of an Ultimate MMA Diet plan that could even improve existing performance all on its own. This is what the ND biodiverse food study is all about.
John Jones & Loutrition Diet
John Jones, two-time undefeated Light Heavyweight Champion of the UFC with 22 wins, 9 by knockout, 6 by submission, and one loss by disqualification, has been considered by many the greatest MMA fighter of all time (GOAT). John Jones trains at the Greg Jackson-Wink Academy in Albuquerque now and since 2012, and is originally from New York.
I am big Jones fan cause he is the best and he is the smartest and he knows to train on my team. 😉
According to Play it on Point, this is a diet example for Johnny ‘Bones’ Jones. He mentions the use of black rice in his interview, and other ingredients on occasion, of course, not listed below.
Breakfast: 2.5 fl. oz low-fat, plain kefir 0.5 oz (medium) banana 1/2 tbsp peanut butter 1.5 oz oatmeal
Lunch: 21.4 oz water 2.5 oz ground turkey breast – no skin 4.5 eggs – egg whites 2.5 cups spinach 9.5 oz pineapple (9.5 oz) 1/2 tbsp olive oil
Snack Meal: 21 oz water 2.5 oz low-fat, plain Greek yogurt 1/2 cup grapes 3 Brazil nuts
Dinner: 21 oz water 5.5 oz tilapia 1/2 medium lemon 2.5 cups collard greens 2 medium tomatoes 1/2 tbsp olive oil
In one quick video for MMA TV in November of 2015, John sat down to eat a “5x, in 2 weeks meal” of, oatmeal, whole-grain toast, potatoes, blueberries, an omelet, and 2 grilled chicken breasts from the Albuquerque restaurant Flying Star. Interesting to me that three starch and grain foods are eaten together in this portion of his MMA diet.
I don’t know how credible a source or how current the information is above but John Jones told USA Today in April 2016 that he now adheres to the tutelage of nutritionist Louis Giordano, in a highly intelligent well-informed system, a carbohydrate-based diet, where even cake can be eaten, if it is in the correct balance with other foods. He mentions in the article that he realized how wrong he had been eating, and made lots of corrections.
I myself have lost respect, and become disappointed in the UFC, and the U.S. sports commissions being that the king in the game was obviously set up, and a deserved career and deserving fans are all robbed such incredible possibilities. I know being a guy from Jackson’s camp, the likely hood of him knowingly being involved with illegal enhancement substances is so very close to, if not is; no chance.
Good to see Jones back in the cage now, putting down his opponents like the tune never skipped a beat.
Lou Giordano, also known as ‘Loutrition,’ who has worked with several Legendary Fighters such as Dan Henderson, BJ Penn, and Andrei Arlovski, is a major proponent against the dreaded ‘weight cut,’ where a fighter will dehydrate himself to lose ten pounds(or more), and then eat like a goat to try to come back to 100% for the fight. Johnny Hendrix fell places from the title shot he could almost smell, taken out before entering the ring ever, to the hospital from his weight cut, and then hired Giordano also.
Titan FC Fighter Jose Torres, another client of Giordano’s tells Cage Pages that he photographs each meal, and sends notes on his weight and workout, how he felt and other data to the nutrition guru, who would work out his next day that night, keeping a daily balance managed so the fighter stays on point. The guru seems to be a fan of 5 to 6 meals a day.
GSP & Dr. Berardi
George Saint Pierre or GSP for short is another one who is arguably the pound-for-pound greatest of all time. The French-speaking Quebecer, pioneered his MMA career from loved developed from martial arts movies, in a place where not many martial arts were available in the school setting.
GSP holds a mixed martial arts record of 26 wins with 8 knockouts, and 6 submissions, two losses and is the former Welterweight and Middleweight Champion of the UFC.
In 2009 just after defending his title against BJ Penn, GSP hired Dr. John Berardi who is the creator of the Surge recovery product, and the Precision Nutrition team, a fitness software creator and coaching program, which caters heavily to nutritionists and coaches. Dr. Berardi found and recruited two chefs in the area to the team, preparing stuff that looks like this:
– 1 lower carb anytime meal to be eaten whenever you like: 650 calories – 60g protein, 40g carbs, 30g fat
– 1 lower carb anytime meal o be eaten whenever you like: 650 calories – 60g protein, 40g carbs, 30g fat
– 1 high-carb post-exercise meal to be eaten immediately after training (a recipe that can be eaten cold): 700 calories – 60g protein, 100g carbs, 10g fat
“Georges’ baseline menu is about 3200-3500kcal per day, with around 250 grams of protein, 350 grams of carbs, and 100 grams of fat. Post-workout meals are higher in protein and carbs, while being lower in fat, and eaten right after workouts. Evening meals are higher in protein and fat while being low in carbs.”
In the Case of GSP research was easy, and these guys have been very forthcoming with their diet supplements planning. Traditional meal ingredients that are organic are employed to achieve the baseline goals, and are supplemented by 2 Shakes (per day): 1 shake at a time, between meals, mixed with almond milk or water 4 fish oil capsules 1 scoop milk-based protein powder 1 scoop greens supplement 1 cup frozen mixed berries; (282 calories – 18g protein, 25g carbs, 12g fa)t. Before training: ½ protein bar Immediately after training: 1 Surge Recovery drink (330 calories – 25g protein, 44g carbs, 1g fa)t. Followed by a post-workout meal 1 hour later.
Brands are Muscle Milk protein powder from CytoSport, Greens+ from Genuine Health, Flameout fish oil capsules from Biotest. Finbar from Biotest: 125 calories – 7g protein, 20g carbs, 4g fat, Surge Workout Fuel from Biotest: 85 calories – 8g protein, 21g carbs, 0 fat
Approximate Total Baseline Intake: 3104 calories – 256g protein (30%), 315 carbs (40%), 99g fat (30%), and GSP is my size (170-200) so this was cool to see.
Stay tuned for a part two and three, of looking for the best MMA diets.
Just for Fun
Not knock to Loutrition, or this diet, if this is even still or ever was it (*references below_).. I am telling ya too that I write this with your eyes and mind in the forefront, I would design a much different thing in person, but many of the names of ingredients are unknown outside of very technical references. In other words I am writing a simple “just for fun,” and for an initial abstract formulation of a serious diet plan down the road for this.
See more about the Panama study where we actually do this here.
(contains meat*)
Breakfast: 2.5 fl. oz low-fat, plain kefir 0.5 oz (medium) banana 1/2 tbsp peanut butter 1.5 oz oatmeal.
I allways wonder if athletes tell it all in interviews
. I am sure they don’t share their best secrets. This is what I might think up for a super diet EXAMPLE and slowly try to refine:
All Central American Permaculture & wild foods: 1 plantain, 2 leaves culantro, 6 leaves wild zornia, 2 ounces of fresh jackfruit, 4 mangosteen fruit, 1/2 ounce baked vegetable state breadfruit, shredded carrot, and homegrown tomato as a salad. 1/4 ounce ambrosia Peruvianna a.k.a. American ragweed blended with : 1/2 mango fruit and 1 leaf, 1/4 avocado and 1 leaf, 3 leaves cranberry hibiscus, 3 leaves pogonia, 6 leaves mugwort, 2 leaves hogweed, 1 Eugenes Victoriana fruit, 1 starfruit, coconut water, and turkey tail mushroom. Large mustard leaf and one large kail or turmeric leaf used to role: 1/16 ounce of each lovage leaf, parsley head, and stem, mini shoots wild, gotu kola, and wild clover.
I would alternate this with intermittent fasting sometimes. One day this big breakfast next day intermittent fast. Revving up for a big breakfast in the morning will enhance the effects of the fast.
Lunch: 21.4 oz water 2.5 oz ground turkey breast – no skin 4.5 eggs – egg whites 2.5 cups spinach 9.5 oz pineapple (9.5 oz) 1/2 tbsp olive oil
This is quite a good lunch, and since he has been on it we might as well keep it in place as there is a small adjustment and getting used to sufficient full spectrum Nutritional Diversity diet plans. A couple of things to note are, that pineapples have been worked over, and harshly augmented in many cases – its crucial to get a homegrown pineapple of a more original strain. They are almost always monoculture crops. Also, this has happened to the common “Chiquita” banana.
Snack Meal: 21 oz water 2.5 oz low-fat, plain Greek yogurt 1/2 cup grapes 3 Brazil nuts
Might consider consuming the water at a different time than the food. Might also look at goat cheese, or milk as an alternative to the cow. Or being this is snack meal, throw all that in the blender with coconut and the water from it, a few other nuts, at least 7 different greens, a
20 species of plant leaf, mango and pineapple fruit
few flowers and maybe some cacao or jackfruit.
Dinner: 21 oz water 5.5 oz tilapia 1/2 medium lemon 2.5 cups collard greens 2 medium tomatoes 1/2 tbsp olive oil
Diner pretty good too, again there is a water intake toggle that can be honed, in order to somewhat throttle digestion. It is an important tool, especially for athletes. If the tilapia had a nutritionally diverse diet it’s a better fish. Also, most are blown away at how delicious a rich mix of functionally nutritious wild and select other greens can be. Cooked greens should be at least 50% of a good diet. In a diversity of more than 60, and 10% of it all fresh as appetizer and vitality system activator you have yourself a revolutionary diet in modern times.
Notes on future study
It’s a sweet daydream of mine, behind the shovel when my mind wanders off, with this “food art,” to work with some pro martial artists, and I wholeheartedly believe any athlete who comes here to the tropics and fully incorporates the complete findings of this biodiverse food study, is bound to have similar results as the 300+ we have observed over the last few years.
The Ultimate MMA Fighters’ & Diet Arts
Thinking in a no-limits fashion, with no vilification of any foods, but with the goal of having a calculated and well-budgeted ingredients list, organized by time of the meal, training sessions, and rest sessions; my thoughts on the diet, and the information and diet plans I am able to find, feel too loose. I find food combinations that I know to fight with each other in my MMA diet research, I find coffee mentioned frequently, I find a lot of repeat information, and seldom anything new. I feel there is too much comfort in modern society with the diet that we called traditional and balanced.
I do feel that diet plans are based on exercise and rest plans, which for an athlete comes first, then the diet should be made up accordingly. Plus with my nutritional diversity knowledge and experience, I wonder how many of these fighters and nutritionists are really getting to know their foods, or are their minds and bodies are constrained to the textbooks, and other modern recommendations that are mostly all inadequate or non-optimal for actual use and competitive application. Some people I am sure would say I am over-complicating things, and the modern balanced diet, and simply eating clean is all you need to focus on. I would say there is a lot that guy does not know.
Clearly today in the modern age we know that humans can live off of absolute garbage almost. We are amazing creatures. That kind of eating takes its toll and has a price, and eating the right way, if we know what that is complete, would in this same completeness produce benefits.
“To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art.”
― François de La Rochefoucauld
The art of eating, as a large puzzle piece to the art of fighting, has new horizons in this age of worldwide market availability.
We live in the perfect age to figure it all out. Now is the time! The ultimate mixed martial arts diet intelligence has not yet been fully painted.
I would not begin to think I could just draw it up in this article, but I do want to do is inspire and motivate, the continual formulation of it. Also, we are trying to grow a qualified team, if you have more interest in working with on this diet, enroll in a certification track.
I am working with a good team of guys here on the biodiverse food study in Panama, and we are concentrated heavily on diet study and what works best.
To give some basic questions for MMA fighters to chime in on:
- How many times a day do you eat and how far apart are those increments?
- How do you measure your calculated meal increments?
- Can you list what you may eat in a weak as far as a sum total foods, to include the separate species of, or sources of foods?
- Are you familiar with the chemical glyphosate? (honestly, before you looked it up, did you know?)
- Are you running on carbohydrates or fats?
- How many hours per day do you train heavily? Maybe even describe the workout.
- What bone breaks have you experienced? Other injuries?
- What kinds of benefits do you imagine you could get from widening the spectrum of nutrition that you ingest? What is the spectrum of species now? List them.
I myself started a log of my own MMA training and MMA diet adventures, a diet and fitness diary with pics, and all the important data, including blood-work, and basic vitals. I started training MMA again this past January (2018) motivated by finding some videos online of kiddo I care about smashing on the mat! I was so overjoyed I had to go roll it out.
Being that I am always on the road these days, I am trying to take some heavy looks at some good, new, diverse, performance supplements too.
Good luck with your training!
Your gym-mate and humble student of MMA & nutrition
The number one thing that would address with supplementation is electrolytes and hydration. Also a good oil.

MMA DIET DISCUSSION
The number one thing is hydration today. The modern diet does lack protein and calcium and al everything really but people are answering to that with the best performance supplements man has ever had.
At the end of the day NDdiet formulas are going to be the best performance diet and best MMA diet.
MMA DIET FAQ
Q. What nutrient groups should I focus on the most?
A. To start calcium, bone, and joint stuff, then move into hydrational elements, making sure you have a diverse amount of good well-sourced waters coming in, electro lights and amino acids, make sure you are getting sufficient nutrition.
I recommend next a protein and a glutamine supplement and or nutritional focus. See the proper way to take supplements.
Next, I really recommend the best focus supplement or even better all-natural permaculture-based nutritional plan.
Q. Where can I find this “permaculture?”
A. You may not have heard the term but its a big one. Look it up I am sure there is one in your area, if not far away. Inherently these permanent -culture installations are some of the happiest, most balanced most willing to get their produce-to-you people ever. They likely can also grow on request.
Do you really like how this sounds? You can be the nutritional DJ for your gym, make a little money and have the best full-coverage nutrition around you. All you need is the permaculturist(s).
Q. What is the best grocery store stuff I can get now and make the best MMA diet with that?
Q. What kinds of things would make the best MMA diet better?
A. Great question. Kombucha is one thing that would make the best MMA diet better by enhancing the nutrient uptake from the existing diet plan and maybe even allowing for the expansion of it.
The best hydrational supplements really do help, they also keep the immune system running well and hydration is vital to life, performance, and recovery. Whatever is not sufficiently hydrated will not perform, it will age, it may die and you will not get the results you want. This goes from the cellular to the whole muscle to the whole body.
MMA training is some of the hardest training which means heavy depletion.

Best Water Filter Rankings, Benefits, Side Effects & Experience
Water is one of the most important resources for all life. Without it, we don’t exist. If a once-living being loses all water, it is dead, biologically speaking at least it is in a state of decomposition. Water quality for the living is #1 for the home, so make sure to get the best water filter for you and your loved ones!
The U.S. and many other centrally distributed, large city water plants around the world, have been tested to show some alarming substances. As the word of this and the knowledge about city water contamination spreads, people become more and more interested in the very important endeavor of finding a way to clean that up.
I want to clean it up for myself too and convey the message to loved ones about how important the water we consume is, which includes a few recommended home water solutions.
The most recent article growth is rooted in the AquaTrue Countertop Water Purification Station. Well, that and..
Water is #1
Just like with the Nutritional Diversity Diet, there is a sourcing issue, and if we can get a great source there is no need for costly devices, many times great sources come by delivery in large 5-gallon plastic containers. We just hope no chemicals from the plastics are released as they get hot in the transport trucks.
Water in U.S. homes and homes around the world has turned out to be at many times contaminated, with serious contaminants such as heavy metals, microfiber
plastics, harsh chemicals, even pharmaceuticals, and caustic sediment matter.
The number one thing to health is water, and there must be some things residents can do to clean it up for themselves and for their loved ones.
“Built into my world of convenience, I stand for the city water service to put a high amount of chlorine in the water for sanitary purposes which then goes into and all over my body each day.
I have to get to work and do some meaningless task, and I don’t have time to read this piece on water. I need to get ready and jump in my shower that kills my skin each day, and I go on day in and day out ignoring the fact that I drink chemicals I can smell coming from the top of my glass.
Could the chemicals themselves have something to do with the lackadaisical manner in which I let myself consume poisons both from my tap and my local grocer?”
It may seem like a far-fetched question, or an over-exaggeration of a simple sanitary function until Pharmaceutical substances were found in tests done by the United States Environmental Protection Agency that revealed in all 50 samples of the study, conducted across each of the 50 states existed positive results for several drugs.
Most of the medications discovered there lower blood pressure, except for Carbamazepine which is used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and epilepsy.
It is arguable whether high blood pressure is indicative of health risk, everyone who exercises maintains a high-pressure accepting system because of the intensely high blood pressure they experience during their times of exercise. It is also arguable that lowering blood pressure with pharmaceuticals is much like sedating people, which technically one could consider it to do.
For the number #1 resource of my family; I would like to improve the water quality in my life and in the lives of those I love. Let’s check out the top ten best water filters.
WATER FILTER RANKINGS
tba
WATER FILTER BENEFITS
Clean water. No toxicity and bleach.
WATER FILTER SIDE EFFECTS
A little work and investment.
There have been cases where bacteria build-in filters. In a clean system, with no outside contamination, this could be a good thing. [x]
Toxic algae growth had “tap water banned” this past 2017 in Toledo Ohio. [NYT]
WATER FILTER EXPERIENCE
You may hear terms “reverse osmosis, multi-staged,” and things like “xxPSI, “xPVC,” but don’t worry getting someone to help you with this stuff should be easy, thanks to our world of convenience where most people don’t do anything for themselves, most fellas, who are really poor will know their way around these terms and need $20 to help fit you out with something. You know he helps you, you help him. There we go…. now we are moving….
For drinking, it is recommended as the best water filter, that the gravity fed, counter-top type be used. They are a little more in price as the other option of an in-line filter but historically they produce the cleanest filtered drinking water when it comes to dealing with the city supply as the water source. I myself use both, the inline and the gravity, why not. In fact, I also use Ozone water treatment on about 35-65% of the water I drink.
The field installs the best water filter system inline style, traditionally is not that complicated and usually a lot cheaper to purchase or create.
A series of sealed tanks can be set up one with rock, one with sand, one with charcoal even, on to the final holding tank where water draws into the final delivery system. Sometimes before the tap will put a few string filters which usually do good to pick up the micro sediment stuff if at all passes, whereas you can inspect these easily and know exactly what is coming through the main filtration set up. If your system is spring water, or roof collected, a little bit of the sediment may even be good for you.
Whatever which way, it is time to stop ingesting the chemicals primarily chlorine and fluoride that seem to be present in most city water supplies. I would like to stop showering with them too.
There has been one product that has stood above the rest in the removal of the chemicals and that is the gravity-fed, Big Berkey Water Purification countertop system with fluoride filter add-on. Next in this counter-top gravity line of hot stuff I recommend is the Nikken PiWater system. I work with both of these systems, and the primary differences are Nikken’s attempt to imitate a prime water structure using handpicked elements and information from around the world in a plastic case that allows light to enter, whereas the Big Berkey is stainless steel in construction, and is the United States’ most popular solution. Depending on what divine water information you may be looking at, in wanting to work on your water more you can juggle the two or do like me and get one for home, and one for office.
Also cheaply done, is a multi-stage inline system, that filters water for the entire home, water going into toilets, showers, air coolers, will all be cleaner with one of these. I say for around $250-$850 installed go ahead and hook the house or apartment up with one. Then there is the under-the-sink inline system, which works for a few taps that people want to get cleaner water from without waiting for it to cycle through the countertop gravity filters. Some companies make a nice shower filter that installs right at the shower line, stays there in line and filters water from the shower.
Water Ionizer is what many medical patients prefer and using this device which is rather expensive the user can make both more acidic and more alkaline water adjustable to their preference and based on their supply. There is a lot of arguing about this but ionic charges likely do play some part.
Then, of course, the frontier way to know your good is to boil the water. Some say distilled is the way to do it, that is all a whole other conversation, very deeply described in the complete ND Diet text. I have seen some permaculturists throw a rock or two or a few into the pot while cooking water, believing that it helps re-mineralize it, especially when rain collects.
Spring mear a city or industry is also likely contaminated I know arsenic was present in underground desert aquifers where I am from, there have been brow-raising radiation tests there also. In a place where much of the National Weapons developments and tests are made to include the first nuclear bomb building, where the dream team of scientists operated, I guess this should not be so shocking.
All of these home water solutions are better than nothing, with your city water supply. Ultimately another source would be better here companies have started selling the large 5-gallon waters harvested from spring sites for $5.oo, and many people pay that, it is good business. The city water supply is the one that most needs home water treatment. Certain U.S. city water taps have been found from toxic to flammable and I can only imagine what the effects must be like sitting down here in pretty Panama, where I still have to go through the motions to get good clean water in my cup. Anything centrally distributed like this is inherently open to being poisoned and hurting a lot of people.
Certain individuals myself included notice, and believe in the science class idea that chemical separation and evaporation of a lesser substance will take place in an open container. Refrigeration, cold, or heat may play their part if they exist but over time in any condition, the lesser substance should move to the top, and be the first to evaporate.
We used to fill glass bottles with water and place them in the sun for a bit, then move them to the fridge hoping that this process would be quickened. Sun does clean the water. After a day of hard sun here in Bocas del Toro, Panama, the nice gulf outside our study center
Along the way, I met a man who explained to me that he would put a lemon, a lime, a leaf of mint, and a quartz crystal into a glass picture and place in the sun. He said with honesty that he found it to be more fulfilling water. Low and behold, I found a ton of research to support this idea. There is even internal UV light featuring products advertised, in the water purification market.
Distillation is a heavily debated process regarding drinking water, but it is pure water technically. Andrew Norton Webber, says distilled water has helped him retain several youthful qualities and achieve health from an episode of sickness, and many others agree. Certain schools of thought caution that the mineral-less water may help remove toxins, but help remove from the body some vital elements also. Rainwater also gets the mineral leaching criticism, and over time drinking from a rainwater tank, and not entering the sea, one could start to feel this maybe, although it could be something else.
In my humble experience, my best water days were some from mountain spring, some from rain collection, some distilled and all filtered to some degree, and many servings of water treated with many different treatments, such as adding a few orange slices.
Most water recommends in our mainstream education recommend far too little water consumption, while our military training is more correct, and that water up, never have yellow coming out.
Nutritional Diversity, key principles are my guiding light in this water respect also, and that is; diversity of the best sources and structures available is best for optimal human performance.
A Deeper Look Into Water: Intro to Water Physics & Metaphysics
Somewhere in this crazy complex journey (I fail as of now to bang out on the keys in a complete story) of mine, I found the work of Dr. Masaru Emoto, who photographed flash-frozen water crystal structures, and spawned the practice of thanking, playing music for and praying to water. Thank your water. I thank you. If you look at this research you will too. If you think about this long and hard, realizing that we ourselves are three-fourths water, and the plant’s and living essences around us all have one thing in common and that is water; you too will see from the good doctor’s very recent research, that an attitude of gratitude will overcome most of the issue.
While Maseru’s critiques are plenty-full, anyone who has been around the snow has seen these shapes before, even if their skepticism is out of balance with trying to hear about Mr. Emoto’s hippy ideas. Just listen to nature, ask God, and try it out see if it helps you to feel differently.
Mr. Emoto offers a highly duplicated on Youtube way to find the same type of results using some damp rice in three different jars treating one harshly and writing the word hate on the glass with a Sharpie marker, the next in a different area of your space write love, and treat it each morning with a hug and a kiss, the third doesn’t write anything, don’t pay it any mind, ever. This particular experiment reveals each time reflectively a terrible moldy cancer on the ignored, and slight moldy cancer on the hated and the best condition on the loved. Obviously make sure all the rice is the same, and clean and the jars are clean..
WATER FILTER DISCUSSION
Here we discuss the best water supply and the best water filter units and what matters to the best water filter consumers.
Too many harmful chemicals have been found to exist in, and likely do exist right now in water that you drink and shower with every day. Any damage caused by this stuff is going to need to be repaired and that energy is going to come off your game-time peak performance.
Chemical-free was the number one member group survey benefit from these filters, chemical-free water was also the number one desired benefit from ND information.
Performance and health upgrade number one – the best water filter that, takes out chemicals, lead, and plastic microfibers.
Lead and pharmaceuticals have no place in our bodies, and they are something to deal with physiologically, neurologically, and spiritually. To have the organic experience we were destined to have we must clean up the toxic water that dulls and detracts from our lives.
This is the starting place for upgrading health in family life, and we wanted to make sure to get products ranked families can afford. The rankings did conclude with a full spectrum of price ranges.
Pure water is priceless.
WATER FILTER FAQ
[contact-form-7 id=”7859″ title=”New Question”]
Q. Does it make sense to use the two best water filter systems?
A. Definitely. I use my own sand filters out in the line before I receive it into the house where I have the I Spring 6 Stage and then a couple of different countertop devices. Water diversity is best. I saw a diverse set of treatments is also smart. We do a rock soup, ozone, distilled, and a “life water” process too.
Q. What is the best way to filter tap water?
A. The best singular way is debatable but we can be sure a diversity of great water sources is best. Distilled, carbon-filtered, or reverse osmosis are the most popular ways people purify or filter tap water. UV light boxes and O3gas treatments are other ways.
This article has covered both reverse osmosis and carbon filtered. There are links below in ‘related material’ for other purification methods.
Q. Do the best water filter systems always work?
A. No. If they are not cleaned that becomes more of a danger than a help. Clean and care for gear. Only have the gear you need. Drink water diversity.
WATER FILTER RECAP
City water is the worst. There are things we can do to clean it up for our loved ones and that is what we should do.
