Abstract
Jiu Jitsu, for Excellent Health
Ju Jitsu is a form of wrestling, a ground-based martial art where bouts are won by submission. Submitting an opponent, is done by putting them in a terrible pain position, limb break positions, or choke out positions. It’s a technique-over-strength mental strategy game where each session of play is unique.
Ju Jitsu was heavily developed in the modern age by the Gracie family in Brazil, and other Brazilian families like the Machado Brothers.
Sambo, a Russian style of wrestling or ground fighting is a very similar, less known style that was taught to Russian special agents, and there are other relative forms of ‘submission grappling.’
The input and output between two practitioners is well balanced and the stretch and resistance training of the muscles and tissues is complete, creating an optimal physical condition ready for what the day has in store, and more. An important complex mind to muscle connection is achieved, and through practice can be mastered. Ju Jitsu practice installs helpful cognitive action thinking, which is well connected to the arts, and the parts of the body, and applicable to all aspects of the student’s life. Ju Jitsu is a modern established and available art and practice that can help Nutritional Diversifists get all the angles covered, in regularity, available in pretty much in every city on the globe today.
Modern Development & Practice
The Gracie Family started the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) which is now a main display in any major sports network or publication. Ju Jitsu is now a major sport, both on it’s own and in the UFC. The UFC still features heavily the Gracie inspired and taught dominant art form of Brazilian Ju Jitsu today.
Ju Jistu is something I have done for many years now. I first learned it from the best fighting & Ju Jitsu instructor in the world, Greg Jackson, in my home town of Albuquerque, NM. This was back in 1998 thru 2003. It has been something along with boxing and kickboxing, that I have resorted to for fun, staying out of trouble and on a straight course in life. I would like to add that I have seen these combat sports, martial arts, boxing, and cultural disciplines like them to be the most effective positive element in the lives of troubled youth.
When I say that Greg Jackson is the best Jiu Jitsu, or grappling, (or Gaidojitsu originally in this case- when I was at the school) coach in the world, it is not just because I love him, and have the utmost respect for him – it’s because he IS the best ground game coach on this planet. That’s right he is coach to Jon “Bones” Jones (UFC Heavy Weight Champ of The World), Holly Holmes, Keith “Dean of Mean” Jardine, Diego “Nightmare”Sanchez and Donald “Cowboy” Cerone, any many other world champions and greats in the sports arenas like the UFC that heavily feature this art. Learning from the visionary Greg Jackson who brought Jiu Jitsu to New Mexico pretty much, has given me an advantageous and visionary mindset that goes with my Jiu Jitsu that I am also very thankful for. When I was at Greg’s, it was small school, his daughter would be bouncing the ball, his small ford hatchback was out front, and he used to turn the heat up in there on us, creating the mats which he made himself, into an overcrowded slip and slide. It was great! This Jiu Jitsu was his true passion, as Nutritional Diversity is mine, and his sacrifice and devotion to it – millions upon millions are now thankful. AND now everyone in Albuquerque, which has always been the town of the ‘Billy the Kid’ tough guy, who takes nothing from no one, the largest Pueblo vs. Spanish revolt in the Americas also, the all around toughest people on the rock today pretty much all now know some Jiu Jitsu too! Thanks Coach!
I started this article in September, 2016 while I enjoyed the memories of all the gyms and the guys and gals in them from my past 18 years that I have been walking into fight gyms. At this time I was very motivated to run because of being near my home elevation (8k ft.) in the beautiful mountains near San Jose, Costa Rica. Before long, I attended a few of many Ju-jitsu groups in that area three times a week, and I frequented the many health clubs and gyms across the city. I was in this area one month but I had ran it, went ballin’ a few times, and toured many gym clubs in the area with my good friend Derrik, a finance professional from Philadelphia where i once developed some properties..
Now I finish the article here in beautiful Panama City a few years later while really reflecting on exactly how much I appreciate learning this art, especially over the last few years
Ju Jitsu Healing
Long story short, I experienced a huge terrible family disaster that had me laid up for 5 years. In order to summarize it, I tell people that, I may as well have been hit with a truck, in fact I would have rather been hit with a truck than experience what I did. I may never completely heal from it. It was quite the gruesome disaster, one that has rendered many a tough man in a state of traumatic inability to function for life.
Ju Jitsu really helped get me and my life back on track, and my appreciation and respect of the art and those who have helped me with bettering it throughout the last 20 years is constantly growing.
Across Central America while traveling and only in the area briefly, I have been able to just walk in work out, chat with a few other patrons, get a shake and leave with out a charge for the day use or a membership. Ju Jitsu and martial arts clubs traditionally consider the first couple days free to try it out. So this is a great way to get a diverse set of gym and school experiences if your constantly on the move and the road like I have always been.
I had to write about this particular ancient art, that has relieved me of the need for chiropractics, chess, and likely lots of stress therapy.
This Ju Jitsu is constantly being added to and evolved, it’s a popular and highly utilized art now, that gets plenty of modern adaptations. Traveling around from gym to gym I have noticed certain clubs have club-wide strengths, and individuality that is shared and represented by it’s team members to a degree. I find Ju Jitsu practitioners everywhere to be highly intelligent, genuine, creative and productive people, fond of ability, discipline and integrity.
Jiu Jitsu / Jujitsu
Jiu Jitsu is the triumph of human intelligence over brute strength.
Grand Master Helio Gracie
The art is said to have been originally devolved to help smaller weaker persons defend against larger stronger ones. It is truly what it was designed to be and more.
Over the last 30 years the popularity of this art has been in nuclear chain reaction across the globe, the world Ju Jitsu community is large, and almost every city in the world now has Ju Jitsu studied in some capacity, and there are several heavy petitions to see it become an Olympic sport like Judo is. The art itself has become some of the most advanced physical sciences on the planet, and the more serious practitioners of it are some of the healthiest and most dexterous, and dedicated athletes in existence. Is one of these things that can be shown to anyone, and receive a great deal of respect and appreciation instantly.
This is for everyone, beginners, advanced, old and young. It’s a highly technical, slow practiced, art of human balance and contact, a dance if you will, of unlimited possible body movements. The form itself in action pushes the artist into new spots, and ideas and mental to muscles stimulation that connect and network-up the creative cognition of the mind.
I do also believe it is a responsibility in life to learn to defend yourself in anyway, and having that confidence builds character for application to many situations daily.
Feed Your Head Ju Jitsu
It can become a lifestyle, and can help create a successful level of discipline to be employed during the entire life’s goals and dreams and daily routines. The results of Ju Jitsu practice are often times profound transformations of people’s lives. After practicing Ju Jitsu for more than a year the benefits become very clearly measured and exceptional!
Ju Jistu is what I call a power key. It is able to unlock an incredibly advantageous set of powers or abilities. It really does work-out every little inch of the body in a great diverse set of ways. It brings people together into a serious concentrated cerebral, physical connection that all by itself unlocks a deeper understanding of the body and of self.
Experts in Ju Jitsu have realized the cognitive parallels of the powerful help Ju Jitsu learned thinking has given them in all aspects of their lives.
The game of Ju Jitsu itself, pushes it’s practitioners to go to new bounds, and helps one gain new levels of cardiovascular health and flexibility.
Ju Jitsu to Stay Well Grounded
The humility of a true champion.
Ju Jitsu is not just a ground art, but it keeps your emotional, metaphysical, and physical planes into a well grounded state of being. It is a natural and constant implementation of humility. Texts throughout time, from the Tibeten Book of the Dead (a personal favorite) to self happiness guides of the latest cutting edge ideologies in self help and optimization, recognize humbleness as a virtue representative even of the gates of assent. There certainly is a graduation if you will that happens with the stripping of our ego in a truly dedicated and invested manner, that is irreversible in that once a certain cognition is understood and achieved you can’t go forward ignorant of that understanding – now you understand it and short of head trauma or digestive brain disease the understanding stays with you. That’s not to say that without practice and continued dedication to some degree that one can’t fall away from Ju Jitsu and it’s benefits.
I simply cannot offer a complete nutritional guide, or human optimization guide, and health system without mentioning Ju Jitsu practice in it.
Entitled people are some of the worst, we have all faced the entitled that will lie on us, try to use us, do it little kids, I don’t find that here in the Ju Jitsu gym.
All About the Discipline
Most martial arts programs, and societies have realized the benefits of cultivating general discipline and inner iron will, and one way to help do this is to practice other individual disciplines and arts. In adult classes it mostly successful happy people walking in and out of martial arts clubs everywhere in the world, or every kind of discipline you can think of.
Other helpful physical regimes I recommend to implement in this cause are massage therapy, meditation, chi-gong, a form of striking and yoga.
So here it is, the Ju Jitsu piece,

Enhance Biodiversity and Sustainability in Agriculture, Aquaculture, Fisheries, and Forestry
TARGET 10: Enhance Biodiversity and Sustainability in Agriculture, Aquaculture, Fisheries, and Forestry
The Importance of Educating and Implementing a One-Point Government Against Genetic Modification of Nature
In an age of technological advancement and scientific innovation, the temptation to genetically modify nature has grown significantly. While such modifications promise solutions to global problems, they also present substantial risks to ecosystems, biodiversity, and the fundamental balance of life on Earth. The call for a one-point government policy—an unwavering stance against genetic modification of nature—is not only a plea for ecological preservation but also an invitation for humanity to adopt a culture of empowerment, education, and ecological responsibility.
The Case Against Genetic Modification of Nature
Genetic modification, while often well-intentioned, disrupts the intricate harmony of ecosystems. Genetically modified species can outcompete native species, disrupt food chains, and lead to unforeseen ecological consequences. Once released, these modifications are irreversible, posing long-term risks to biodiversity and natural systems that have evolved over millennia.
A one-point government policy to prohibit the genetic modification of nature would serve as a global safeguard, ensuring that humanity respects and works with natural processes rather than altering them to fit immediate needs or desires. This stance is not about hindering progress but about prioritizing sustainable and harmonious solutions that benefit both people and the planet.
Empowerment Through Education
Education is the cornerstone of this movement. By teaching individuals and communities about the dangers of genetic modification and the benefits of working with natural systems, we can foster a culture of respect and stewardship for the environment. Nutritional Diversity culture—which emphasizes consuming and cultivating a wide variety of natural, organic foods—provides a powerful framework for this education.
This culture promotes alternative agriculture that is resilient, sustainable, and aligned with the natural rhythms of the Earth. By understanding the principles of biodiversity and regenerative practices, individuals can become active participants in creating healthier ecosystems. Educational programs should focus on:
- Understanding Biodiversity: The importance of maintaining genetic diversity in crops and livestock to ensure resilience against diseases and environmental changes.
- Alternative Agriculture Practices: Techniques like permaculture, guerrilla farming, and biodynamic agriculture that enhance soil health, water retention, and crop yields without synthetic inputs.
- Nutritional Diversity for Health: The link between diverse diets and optimal physical and mental performance, encouraging individuals to grow and consume a wide range of nutrient-rich foods.
Household Empowerment as Ecological Empowerment
The shift toward ecological responsibility begins at home. Households can become microcosms of ecological empowerment, contributing to broader environmental health while fostering personal well-being. This grassroots approach diminishes the need for large institutional governance, instead placing the power to create change directly in the hands of individuals and communities. We have two operational sustainable household models [2] that function for multiple guests year-round.
Practical Steps for Household Empowerment:
- Home Gardens: Cultivate small-scale gardens that focus on diverse, organic crops. These gardens not only provide fresh, nutritious food but also reconnect individuals with the cycles of nature.
- Composting: Transform household waste into valuable compost to enrich soil and reduce landfill contributions.
- Water Conservation: Implement rainwater harvesting and efficient irrigation systems to minimize water usage while supporting lush, productive gardens. Water enhancements.
- Community Collaboration: Form local cooperatives to share resources, knowledge, and labor, creating a sense of unity and shared purpose.
The Benefits of Freedom to Work With Nature
By rejecting genetic modification and embracing a culture of empowerment and responsibility, individuals gain the freedom to work with the natural world rather than against it. This approach offers numerous benefits:
- Resilience: Natural systems, when nurtured, are inherently resilient and capable of adapting to environmental changes without human interference.
- Health: Consuming unmodified, nutrient-dense foods supports optimal physical and mental performance.
- Sustainability: Regenerative practices improve soil health, increase biodiversity, and sequester carbon, combating climate change.
- Autonomy: Empowered households and communities reduce dependence on industrial agriculture and centralized systems, fostering greater independence and self-reliance.
Educational and Implementational Teams in South and Central America
Across South and Central America, our dedicated teams are working tirelessly to educate and implement sustainable, nature-aligned practices. These teams are embedded in local communities, providing hands-on training, workshops, and resources to empower individuals to adopt Nutritional Diversity culture and alternative agriculture techniques.
Our online education platform is operational, offering accessible, comprehensive resources on regenerative practices, biodiversity, and ecological stewardship. This platform connects learners with experts and peers, creating a vibrant community of ecological advocates.
In addition, our innovative app facilitates the logging of new project sites and coordinates ecologically enhancing practices. This tool enables real-time collaboration among participants, tracks progress, and ensures alignment with sustainable goals. By integrating technology with grassroots efforts, we’re creating a dynamic ecosystem of support that empowers individuals and communities to take charge of their ecological and nutritional well-being.
A Vision for the Future
A global commitment to preserving the integrity of nature through a one-point government policy against genetic modification represents a profound act of respect for the Earth and future generations. By educating and empowering individuals to adopt Nutritional Diversity culture, alternative agriculture practices, and household-level ecological responsibility, we can create a sustainable, harmonious world where freedom and nature thrive together.
Let us rise to this challenge, cultivating not only our gardens but also our collective potential to live in harmony with the natural world. Together, we can achieve a legacy of ecological integrity and human empowerment.
