Best Animal Permaculture Integration Technique Using Simple Solar Fences

Published

on

If you want to know the best Goat Farming, and Best Animal Permaculture Integration Technique for your Permaculture and how goats fit into; J.D., of the Nutritional Diversity Study Center, in Costa Rica is an excellent source.

In this video segment of the Permaculture for Kids Education segment, Joey explains a great modern and agile A – Z on having goats on a family farm.

Okay so, Best Goat Farming is the model used here in this video but the principles outlined apply to all the animals raised on the farm and the solar fences are made for all those animal types, mammal, fowl, etc.

This study center is a family-run farm and consists of three to twenty persons at any given moment and is an important learning center and community member for Central American Permaculture, Bio-Dynamic Farming and other advancements in human nutrition.

Costa Rica really has a huge number of people doing this and some of the most biodiverse jungle left on the planet is here.

The tribe there is always an impressive bunch, all testimonies to the ‘law of attraction’ being that they are very good and they attract very good – which I have however learned is not always a law, there are many exceptions in fact. So many that I have referred to it as the “inclination of attraction.”

These people firstly set out to do this sustainable culture, with a real fire and many like minds and souls have come up to see this fire and what’s going on and they have been warmed by it.

While nothing in this world is perfect I find this group and many like them in the pursuit of the same things to be ahead of the rest, a little more in balance and a lot more ready to take on harder challenges than your everyday city mark.

learn-nutritional-diversity-university-permaculture-costa-rica-lettuce Learning with my hands and shovel in the gardens and production terraces of the Alta vista points at Nutritional Diversity Costa Rica has been one of my own consciousness’ best real experience of, “working in heaven.” This thought on the new east-facing terraces of the farm will be remembered.

I didn’t know it then but I would be back to do round two on these terraces and at this time I know there will be around three, the question is when.

“The intellect is powerless to express thought without the aid of the heart.” -Henry David Thoreau

Heart

I would add to Henry Thoreau’s sentiment that; “the more heart, the more effective the expression.” This farm where this tutorial comes to have heart and that is why I go there. that is why such a complete and authentic, best goat farming tutorial came out.

That is what Nutritional Diversity Centers deserve, and all humans, plants, and animals too – the heart.

It may behoove you to know that 80% of the human heart is comprised of neurological cells. In brain-damaged persons or in the cases of underdeveloped brains, the heart seems to do the thinking; some very descent, and normally happy thinking. A good friend of mine Dr. Ricky put it, well,” we are heart organ retarded, they are brain organ retarded, their hearts are amazing!”

Goat Farming & Goats in Permaculture

best goat farming

According to Norse mythology, the God of thunder, Thor, has a chariot that was pulled by goats.

Goats are powerful creatures, that can eat up your farm in no time if you don’t know how to handle them right. Good thing these guys developed a really advanced yet easy to duplicate system for users to follow.

A point obvious to subscribers of Nutritional Diversity, but shockingly hidden from the rest of the world conceptually (in most cases), is an observed direct link from the Nutritional Diversity and a “sufficient variety of greens” to the goat’s, or the humans or any animals’ happiness.

At Nutritional Diversity Costa Rica’s farm location, students learn all about this, and more. It gets deep along this particular trail of connectivity and connective energy.

Nutritional Diversity doctrine should reflect for the record that happiness is also a result of making diverse and unselfish decisions, leading to a life dedicated to higher purposes and diverse experience.

At night when Thor sets up his camp, he eats the meat of the goats, but takes care that all bones remain whole. Then he wraps the remains up, and in the morning, the goats always come back to life to pull the chariot. When a farmer’s son who is invited to share the meal breaks one of the goats’ leg bones to suck the marrow, the animal’s leg remains broken in the morning, and the boy is forced to serve Thor as a servant to compensate for the damage.

We can just imagine that Thor’s goats never spent much time on their own feces, they moved around a lot. They had likely the best animal permaculture system.

The step by step formula is detailed below in Animal Permaculture Systems Experience.

For now let’s go over the best animal permaculture system solar fences, to use in our own farms and permaculture designs.

BEST ANIMAL PERMACULTURE SYSTEM BENEFITS

Control goats in mobile solar fencing that can be easily moved at a one time set up cost.

BEST ANIMAL PERMACULTURE SYSTEM SIDE EFFECTS.

At this time there are no known side effects to this system.

The better, Best Animal Permaculture Integration Technique model would be to have an incredibly enhanced ecology and permaculture with a high diversity of what the particular animal likes. Theoretically, the animals would be both loyal to the farmer and spend most of their time in that locality.

BEST ANIMAL PERMACULTURE SYSTEM EXPERIENCE

Best Animal Permaculture Systems > Solar Fencing

Practical Application, of Goats to Permaculture, a full A-Z

1. Solar Fence

Solar electric fencing is a great feature, functional lasting and easily moveable for all animals and areas. Joey Learned with a lot of experience that this was a great go-to solution for his goats that are happy to eat a metal fence and thick tree posts.

The fence can be moved little by little or drastically, to take the step out of collecting food for them. Joey mentions the weed wacker, which is great to stack up biomass for goats and compost, but also for that hour the goats may enjoy just going there.

Having several animals and several fences makes for the best way and animals can rotate between slowly and easily moving control areas.

2. Diverse Green Foods

This would be fun to experiment with as a nutritional diversified. I could see myself quickly throwing everything I could get my hands on at the goats, and moving their fence a lot to see what plants they discriminated against, how they would go about eating certain plants and not others or if they would discriminate at all.

It would be easy to theorize that a very large spread of Nutritional Diversity or diet diversity one could likely eat even some toxic plants in the high mix. It wouldn’t be easy for me though, cause I have really eaten some poisons and messed myself up.

All science should be slow science, take your time and step with intelligence.

3. Minerals

Animal mineral salt.

4. Waste to Food for Food

Manure’s value to compost and direct to plant application is invaluable.

There is good waste and bad waste. We must have nothing to do with bad waste, it must stay far from our thriving, healthy systems. Should it come into our organism known as our farm, we must eject out or bury it deep. It can contaminate and destroy us all. We know these things.

Nutritional Diversity for the goats according to Joey, is vital for optimal milk. It is vital for optimal waste too!

I trust Joey, I trust his information because I know him. I can trust his good heart and recognize it because I have one of my own. “It takes one to know one,” they would say a lot where I grew up. When I eat a Nutritional Diversity my sensibility and instinctual abilities key into a nice groove, and my brain does too. I’m likely to know all about you. I will never walk into a MacDonald, or even much a grocery store anymore, you can bet on that. He has never said anything dishonest and has always tried to be tactful and artistic in his communication. You don’t hear him badmouthing anybody, or playing the victim. He does his Yoga and his capoetta regularly, and this is a requirement for me. You must have a physical component and you must work on yourself regularly in order to really even get me to speak with you.

Dire lacks of artistic interest or dishonest behavior quickly disqualify people from my life and I don’t care how much they stalk me.

What I am trying to say is this what life deserves from life; basic respect and not to be used, abused and walked on. Now its time really applies this to our culture, to our animals to our selves or we are just wasting our incredible destinies and experience.

We can enhance and create some real dreamwork ecologies here instead of messing it all up! This is not a good waste!

We want our goats to have the salad bar of the heavens cause we love them, their part of our family, our kids feed them in the morning.

All life deserves this treatment, in both physical-biological tang-abilities, and the less physical-biological counterpart, the spiritual, intellectual and or emotional realms of nature; love being the singular key to all of the important sub-points.

Diverse green nutrition, happiness, and freedom and HEALTHY ACTIONS, is what we want for creating good waste. It turns out, hopefully, we learn this anyway… there is no point in messing around, or doing something unless you do it right. Doing it wrong, dishonestly, corner-cutting, whatever if you don’t do it 100% right- you will redo it or you will lose it. These are karmic principles nature teaches and every older culture in existence wrote down.

The degree in which our society has distanced itself from them is impressive.

We have clear roads ahead to keep or stand by for the destroying of the planet all her living organisms and be controlled so a few can have it all and do less, or break on through to the other side, grow free and go out and put solar fences everywhere, and start permaculture up this whole mutherfr!

So just remember we get the good waste we want through HEALTHY PROCESS. Also “haste makes waste, be careful and focused in the shop.

4. Feral Goats, The Stonger End of Nutritional Diversity

Goats rapidly revert to the wild, in goat shepherding terms “become feral,” if given the opportunity. The only domestic animal known to return to feral life as swiftly as goats is the cat.

Feral goats have established themselves in many places globally. When feral goats reach large populations in habitats which provide unlimited water supply and which do not contain sufficient large predators or which are otherwise vulnerable to goats’ aggressive grazing habits, they may have serious effects, such as removing native trees and other important vegetation which is required by a wide range of other creatures, not just other grazing or browsing animals.

Feral goats are common in Australia.. However, in other circumstances where predator pressure is maintained, they may be accommodated into some balance in the local food web.

Using the solar fences you can have these guys do your hedge trimming, keep the jungle back and get their diversity allow their feral nature and feral pheromones and other hormonal and vital production to come out a bit more than the fully domesticated goat would have going on, keeping, of course, the threats mentioned above under control.

That being said keeping the right amount of goats going through the right amount of jungle per year should be easy to calculate after a f ew rotations.

Welcome to The Jungle

So when I say The Real Nutritional Diversity, I mean the jungle. The jungle is our most effective permaculture. It’s the oldest, you can spend money for days doing the most elitist permaculture around and all the soil tricks, it will not work out to be a self-sustaining function quite like the jungle is. Sure the soil would likely be better with good recipe and that can be used to get there.

In the beginning: I have been eating from the jungle located food forests and from permaculture farming for a few years now. It cured me of an incredible health issue only a miracle like Nutritional Diversity could have cured me from. While getting this lesson together and reading about the goats’ quick re-assimilation to the wild, it is their inherent ability to return to the jungle after years of domestic life that is most interesting to me.

It is interesting to me because as I have been pursuing this highly diverse diet formula, it has really increased all of my strengths by tenfold.

Then I think much about what they can teach us about the foods here, like the monkeys on the island farm have shown me so much information over the years. They seem to eat it all as far as I can tell. I guess they leave the orange trees and citrus alone.

Goats and other animals can play vital roles in optimizing a farm, and in the unique one of a kind permaculture personality of the individual farm organ or new entire being if you will they are now a part of.

The dense jungle patches throughout protecting themselves with flesh-eating parasite colonies and hardcore insects that can lay a human up for weeks, or boreholes through flesh and muscle in hours. It is not nice and you need to know what you are doing to get into it. The learning curve is a steep one, that plenty has died from.

It could be hypothesized that to eat the heavy half-feral goat meat could help deal with the getting through the jungle.

The Jungle is observed also commonly as a place where healing can be had. The biological and nutritional properties and richness of the jungle do have this healing power I have experienced it personally now many times, and it is a real power.

In human lives, we can see that intoxicated, diseased or poisoned humans, also have a sort of spiritual difficulty, whereas the decision making is dependably selfish and untrustworthy.

Arguably illness that is all bi-product of city and centrally distributed lifestyle, and negative influence.

Anyways in the jungle and in nature sickness is rarely seen. The primates there don’t have dentists, nor hospitals and live in sync with nature full lives to the point of hosting various insects and parasites in the life cycle on their skin, in their nose, etc. They live through it, and they dance and howl in the rain. They are very well tempered and bravely curious, in constant witness and wonder of the odd human bulldozing through their home, but also loving their children. Their defense is in their abilities and knowledge of nature. Without those two things they would need the luxuries we have.

It seems that whatever way we can get closer to this wild side of us, and of nature, we can build all of our powers up.

With the ecological concept, I am trying to launch into reality now of cattle ranch conversions that keep the cattle so that more people do it with their land, this “less domestic animal” idea will be in play.

Our stomach microbiome should model this jungle also, a garden of gracious ingredients handpicked by his or her mastermind, and formulated with time and care. Don’t make it too complicated though, just get the diversity up for now.

Obviously we don’t want to throw a bag of trash produced in factories in our jungle. Sure we can, and the jungle rages on if all the other elements are there. If we were to throw a bag of trash once or twice a week into it, then it would surely wither (age) and die quickly.

When we cultivate red meat, in cages for softness and feed specialized unnatural foods, while relying on pharmaceutical (lab chemicals) substances for survival in a dirty frankly horrific environment that is very common and should be illegal; that is the product we consume? Are we insane? Forget about us, how can we call ourselves human when we do this to our animal blessings?

Sadly not much has changed since the Spanish came.

Goat Milk

At Nutritional Diversity & Permaculture Costa Rica, goat milk is one of the options of the Nutritional Diversity local arsenal of genuine human-loved organic nutrition. This location is also armed with some of the most bio-diverse rain and cloud forest left on the Earth. I had one of the recently slaughtered goats’ meat from the farm just last week and it was very good, a thick bean stew by the mast chef of the times there Frank-nar, it pretty much had to be.

Goat Milk is delicious, and straight, through a cheesecloth only, un-tampered with right from the goat that morning. Here is some of the nutritional information on goat milk.

In Naturalistic Medicine, goats are referred to as bio-organic sodium animals. They are also associated with vigor, flexibility, and vitality. Los bacas, cows are calcium animals known for stability and heaviness. Bio-organic sodium is an important element in maintaining joints mobility and limberness. Goat milk has traditionally been used in medicinal cultures to nourish and regenerate an over-spent nervous system.

Goat’s milk is also extremely nutrient-dense. It has almost 35% of your daily needs for calcium in one cup. Extremely high in riboflavin, just one measuring cup of goat’s milk offers 20.0% of our daily needs. Add to that high amounts of phosphorous, Vitamin B12, protein and potassium.

In fact, Gandhi himself rejuvenated his own health after extremely long periods of fasting through drinking raw goat’s milk.

Finishing

The softness that people are after can be accomplished the rough process called finishing. Joey did not go over this, but here is the ND Permaculture way:

  1. Take one of these fences out a distance in good shade away from the other animals on your farm, feed your goats to harvested well there for several days. Corn barely and grain added to the largest most delicious and herbaceous feast this goat could ever dream of. Love and hug your goat eat day.
  2. Pamper the goat intensely the day before harvest. Bring a goat of the opposite sex for a few days likely depending on your model.
  3. Say you’re well written well pondered, and well-researched prayers, and thanks.
  4. Cut the throat save the blood in a natural composite dish. People are amazed at the fertilizer that is animal blood. It is amazing!
  5. Butcher the animal for each and every single part to be used.
  6. Train hard.
  7. Paint and decorate the skull.

For this piece, we ranked the fence we know works and rated by option.

The system can be implemented on any piece of land.

BEST ANIMAL PERMACULTURE SYSTEM FAQ

Q. What other animals would work well in the best animal permaculture system?

A. As far as having a diverse community of organisms goes have whatever you want!

That is what is so cool about permaculture it is a fingerprint individual with no other exact copy.

In fact, its harder to copy an ecosystem than to copy a human. Copy of animals was achieved through laboratory technological means and without that lab, the process is not accessible.

The more advanced (if you ask me) natural technology is accessible through the natural lab. And it was using this lab that ancestral agricultural geniuses that we know did a bunch of stuff we can’t and they did it using nature’s gifts as they are given.

This is all a very functional puzzle we used to know how to use before they destroyed the information for means of control.

I think the best way with animals is to start with their ecology, so plant what they like to see if they come to hang out their own, if not consider your agricultural options so please keep that in mind.

I think lambs would be fun and you get the fur. I also think a few cows and a few horses are good. Chickens and turkeys too! This is just the starting place after you have experience working with the written and known animals the next step is to start working with some new ones!

Q. Can the solar-powered animal fences be used on a slope?

A.  Yes, they can and the posts sit fine 90 degrees out from the slope or 90 degrees from level. Either way.

Q.  Can animals dig under the solar fence?

A.  Yes, they can but they will likely get bit by the first line and never make in or out.

Q.  What about rain?

A.  The solar units that charge the fence are mostly made to withstand heavy sun and heavy rain.

BEST ANIMAL PERMACULTURE SYSTEM RECAP

Having animals is a great company, keeps a good system and as long as it is all centered in good love and care, the products will be amazing!

The ability to move animals easily and quickly is hugely advantageous and allows the farmer to put the animals to work for him around the farm in different times and sections.

Ragweed (Ambrosia): The Infamous Allergen with a Surprising History

Published

on

Few plants are as disliked — or as misunderstood — as ragweed. To most people it’s simply the reason late summer means itchy eyes and endless sneezing. But ragweed is also a native North American plant with a genuinely surprising past: it was one of the continent’s ancient cultivated seed crops, and its very name is tangled up with wormwood in a way worth untangling.

What ragweed is (and the wormwood mix-up)

Ragweed is the genus Ambrosia — most commonly Ambrosia artemisiifolia (common ragweed) and Ambrosia trifida (giant ragweed) — in the daisy family. Here’s the confusion we see constantly: common ragweed’s folk names actually include “American wormwood” and “bitterweed,” which is why people so often conflate it with true wormwood. They are not the same plant. True wormwood is Artemisia absinthium; ragweed is Ambrosia. Different genus, different chemistry, different story — even if an old common name blurred the line.

The allergy reality

There’s no sugar-coating ragweed’s headline trait: it is one of the most significant pollen allergens in North America. A single plant can release enormous quantities of lightweight pollen that travels for miles on the wind, and its late-summer-into-fall season is the classic cause of seasonal allergic rhinitis — hay fever. People allergic to ragweed may also react to related plants and, through cross-reactivity, to certain foods like melon and banana in some cases.

An allergen first. For millions of people ragweed pollen is a genuine trigger for hay fever and can worsen asthma. This article is educational history and botany — not an invitation to handle, forage, or consume ragweed, especially if you have pollen allergies or asthma. Talk with a clinician about seasonal allergies.

The forgotten history: an ancient seed crop

Here’s the part almost no one knows. Long before it was a villain, giant ragweed (Ambrosia trifida) was part of the “Eastern Agricultural Complex” — a group of plants that Indigenous peoples of eastern North America cultivated thousands of years ago. Archaeological evidence shows ragweed seeds among early cultivated foods, valued as an oily, protein-bearing seed before maize came to dominate. It’s a striking reminder that our labels — “weed,” “crop,” “medicine,” “menace” — say as much about us as about the plant.

Native pioneer plantAn Ambrosia native to North America, quick to colonize disturbed ground.
Major allergenWind-borne pollen; a leading cause of autumn hay fever.
Ancient seed foodGiant ragweed was among the Eastern Agricultural Complex crops.

One plant, four names, and a history that runs from ancient granary to modern nuisance — ragweed is a lesson in how much context decides a plant’s reputation.

From the field — what we’ve seen

Fifteen years of working the land teaches you to read plants the way the old growers did — not as heroes or villains, but as parts of a system. Ragweed is a pioneer: it rushes into bare, disturbed, abused soil, and where you see a lot of it, the ground is often telling you something about how it’s been treated. That ecological literacy — knowing what a plant’s presence means — is field knowledge that rarely makes it into a nutrition table. We document ragweed here for exactly that reason: to know a plant honestly, allergen and ancient food alike, is part of a truly diverse understanding of the living world.

Bromelain Nutritional Information

Published

on

Bromelain: Pineapple’s Powerful Enzyme

Bromelain is a group of enzymes found in the stem and fruit of the pineapple (Ananas comosus). More than a tropical treat, pineapple carries one of nature’s most studied digestive enzymes.

Nutritional & Phytochemical Profile

Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme, meaning it helps break down proteins. It is concentrated in the pineapple core and stem and is often extracted for use on its own, alongside the fruit’s vitamin C and manganese.

Traditional & Modern Uses

Traditionally, pineapple has been eaten to aid digestion after protein-rich meals. Bromelain is now widely used to support digestion, a healthy inflammatory response, and post-exercise recovery as part of a balanced routine.

How to Use & Enjoy

Fresh, ripe pineapple — especially closer to the core — provides natural bromelain; note that cooking deactivates the enzyme, so raw fruit is best. Concentrated bromelain is also available in supplement form.

The Nutritional Diversity Perspective

Bromelain highlights the role of food enzymes in nutrition — an often-overlooked dimension of dietary diversity that whole, raw foods uniquely provide.

Yohimbe Nutritional Information

Yohimbe: The Potent West African Bark

Yohimbe (Pausinystalia johimbe) is an evergreen tree native to Central and West Africa whose bark has a long history of traditional use. It is one of the more potent botanicals and deserves respectful, informed use.

Nutritional & Phytochemical Profile

Yohimbe bark contains the alkaloid yohimbine along with related compounds. Because these alkaloids are pharmacologically active, yohimbe is far more potent than most culinary botanicals, and its content can vary widely between products.

Traditional & Modern Uses

Traditionally, yohimbe bark has been used in West African practice as a stimulant and tonic. Modern use should be cautious: yohimbe can raise heart rate and blood pressure and is not suitable for everyone — particularly those with cardiovascular conditions, high blood pressure, anxiety, or who are pregnant or nursing.

How to Use & Enjoy

Because of its potency and variability, yohimbe should only be used under the guidance of a knowledgeable healthcare provider who can advise on whether it is appropriate and at what dose. It is not a casual daily botanical.

The Nutritional Diversity Perspective

Yohimbe is included here for education and completeness. It is a clear reminder that “natural” does not mean “gentle” — some botanicals are powerful and call for informed, careful respect.
