Best Keto Shake Rankings, Benefits, Side Effects & Experience

Essentially “nutritional ketosis” refers to the ketone products in the body activated by fasting and by switching from a carbohydrate-rich diet, to a high-fat diet. The best keto shake for us was the Keto Drive product and it really helps diets kick ketogenic production into gear.

This ‘keto’ state is a metabolic state in which some of the body’s energy supply comes from ketone bodies in the blood, in contrast to a state of glycolysis in which blood glucose provides energy.

These ketones provide that every cell in the body receives the fuel. Keytones are produced from fats, and also during times of starvation and could be cleaner fuel to feed human activity, physical, nervous, brain, cardiovascular, systems, etc.

‘Nutritional Ketosis’ refers to the programming of ketosis, by the consumption of fats, and the elimination of carbohydrates.

The ketogenic world is following the work of Dr. Stephen Phinney, a heavy breakthrough expert, on nutritional ketosis ‘keto diet’ and also treating type II diabetes using the keto diet, who in 1980 coined the phrase itself ‘nutritional ketosis.’ Now loads and loads of incredible results have poured in from athletes, and people everywhere chanting the keto craze.

In simpler terms, by eating high fat, low or no-carb diet, one can essentially program the body to run on fats, instead of glycogen sugars (carbs). This produces leaner physiology that theoretically runs in a more optimal way because if the body wants to burn fats it’s going to be well-aimed at creating an optimal physical physique, and requires less input, and effort with digestion.

While in ‘nutritional ketosis’ running on fat, theoretically the dieter is able to trigger the burning of all fat stores in the body.

This process comes with a known period of two to three days, to two to three weeks of carbohydrate withdrawal. The interested community has named this phase the keto flu, which carries about the same symptoms as the regular flu can.

A phased approach that is less costly to a person’s sick time, and certain best keto shake supplements can be employed to help trigger ketosis, and many have learned more correct salt requirements of the body.

Diabetes, hypertension or Chron s disease patients may want to go ahead and suffer through the keto flu symptoms and get right into it. Salt (sodium) is Dr. Phinney’s recommend to help with the keto flu, and the keto diet altogether.

In healthy individuals, there is no overwhelming need to eradicate carbohydrate foods completely from their diets completely and forever, although that very thing has been well-practiced in today’s keto-community.

Inside of the fullness of the Nutritional Diversity diet, dieters are perfectly able to enjoy carbohydrate foods just fine (in proper proportions outlined one of the official ND diet models). But the ND principle is just as powerful an upgrade to a keto plan. With the plant-based requirements as they are written already, is perfect for a vegetarian or omnivores diet plan.

Carbohydrates can clearly be used as a heavy tool for athletes and bodybuilders while packing on mass, and in other uses, like your wallet can’t keep up with this keto thing, which is clearly more expensive.

While keto dieting is a miracle to a type II diabetic patient and can help carve down the fat, get lean and build a new metabolic dexterity, it is not necessary nor surely optimal always for a healthy athlete – but it could be.

There even seems to be a sort of keto-to-carbs immediate output energy catapulting, while metabolically applying a slowdown, that is possible. The processing of food and water elements is way more dynamic than any nutritionist or scientist or athlete including myself has it written down today. Ketosis, keto, and ketogenic even though they have been phrased and used for thirty years are still not detected by my spell checker.

My experimentation with the best keto shake periods is some of my more intense diet experiments on my own personal journey with diet and health. Plus Who doesn’t like to eat fattening foods all day long? I was getting the fat I needed with avocados and with some extensive experiments animal fat.

The most common mistake, in ketogenic dieting, is not getting enough fat, or enough salt something that Mr. Phinney who does a lot of traveling to conferences commonly gets “more of in restaurants with butter.”

Ketogenic diet studies have produced incredible results in reducing obesity and balancing blood glucose and cholesterol levels. [1] The majority of chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease are largely related to obesity which is usually a product of an unhealthy lifestyle and poor dietary habits. The best ketogenic shake diet is one option for rapid weight loss, in order to avoid a certain fate. [1A]

Neurological conditions such as epilepsy are treated through ketogenic dieting. Epilepsy being one hard to treat through pharmacological means other than with cannabis, but in these cases through high-fat dieting. [2,a,b]

An interesting Italian cultural and scientific food examination of keto-friendly and forming foods of Italy and this was also fueled by the interest in treating neurological conditions. [3]

Animal testing indicates that peripheral nerve growth and reduced metabolic syndrome. [4]

KETO SIDE EFFECTS

Most keto-ists are deciding that short term use of ketogenic diet strategies is best and that long term application could increase mortality [h,i].

KETO EXPERIENCE

I have a few recent keto experiences and experiments to mention.

The keto flu, as they call it, which is basically carbohydrate withdrawals and first time round this was so hardcore for me, I bailed in a delicious bread eating fashion.

At this point I was using high meat, rare cooked beef, raw fresh tuna, pepper cooked chicken, eggs, high fatty nuts, avocados, avocado leafgarlic, culantro, yogurt, hot peppers, and few other things for a few days started and ended by one day of fasting.

I would go three to six days with the experiment and take a few days where I eat everything again and regain my bearings. After a few rotations, I could go back and forth a bit more easily, and I could have likely expanded my keto cycles to ten days.

I have a hard time not burning up altogether on certain keto sessions myself, having a higher natural metabolism. I think that going back and forth between diets gives certain metabolic flexibility.

Eventually, in theory,, anyways, a person would reasonably be able to enter and exit nutritional ketosis, and carbohydrate diet’s with little to no adverse effects.

This is not a definitive testament in how I will personally use keto in my overall life strategy.  That strategy is always evolving. The keto dynamic is a powerful breakthrough in human physiology and health that is interesting to play with.

I remember one fire breathing times I have had in the gym, was in nutritional ketosis.   At that time I was on  80% plant-based (5:1 fiber, protein ratio), 20% meat-based.

Next, I try a 100% meat-based diet, in a focused destination with a big gym, and cheapest grass-fed beef known to man which is David, Chiriqui in the Republic of Panama. Here I can buy heart, kidney, liver all of it easily, even conveniently, to give a full Carnivore diet test.

Another method, my favorite,  is the 120 specie Nutritional Diversity, small increments throughout the day, and pooping green. I did have at that chapter about a 10-35% meat intake between chicken, fish, and beef. Of course, it would be nice to make that spread include turkey, bison, goat, dear, and other wild game. All of us have done some serious carbohydrate fueled training because this is the traditional nutrition education.

Protein Powder remains a part of most athletic diets and for many Vegans such as MMA Fighter “War Machine,” who did several fights completely vegan, stating in an interview he relied on protein supplementation.

Certain supplements have been created to motivate and sustain keto periods, and help with building the ketogenic mechanisms that work fairly well.

That being said I finish this keto-article up about a month after eating tons of rice, and patacones and empanadas, fried stuff, and I did make sure to eat as much red meat as I could there, chicken too while in the Panama City life a brief chapter. I myself don’t stay in ketosis all the time, mainly because I have not found a way to keep up with it financially in the circumstances of late. Also because my neighbor here in Chiriqui is a hard-headed chef, who will never hear a ketosis conversation and whose food is too good to refuse. I do notice in the city all good fat products outside of meat are through the roof in prices now. I am glad I did that bad eating cycle though because I learned what keto flu was for real this time in transition to here.

KETO DISCUSSION

The Los Angeles Lakers have switched to the keto diet. Headlines about this are such as “Butter, Bacon, and Bone Broth: A Week on the Lakers Diet.” The all-meat version of the ketogenic diet has been come to be known as the ‘Zero Carb,’ which I am now for the first time ever testing out.

We were unable to determine what best keto shake they used if any.

To hear that steak, butter and bacon are every meal, every day for the modern societal product (you reading this now) may sound like insanity.

Tim Noaks, the carbohydrate loving author that once supported the running communities with his brilliance on carbs, has published his awakening to ketogenic principles in the book entitled “Challenging Beliefs.” His interest in the ketogenic diet which has been wonderful in treating diabetics, where diabetes he knew was commonly coming up in his family genes.

Dave Feldman has found some interesting things, very well put together information under the title of The Cholesterol Code, that indicates; Cholesterol is the answer, not the problem. Would you look at that!

Kenny Saylors, star of the Documentary “Facing the Fat” feature on Real Stories, Youtube Channel, 44lbs in 55days eating no food at all and only juicing, and this had been a popular method of fat burning and gut cleansing called (a version of) fasting. Arguably a 55 day fast is a bit excessive and could have complications of its own, but a few times a decade I think it’s more positive especially in Kenny’s condition. In Kenny’s case he was regularly seen by his doctor during the process. I wonder what kind of keto comparisons like this there are out there, so well documented.

The term Nutritional Ketosis is less than 30 years old so it’s a perfect opportunity to defer to it as the diet experimentalism, from most athletes who are not old enough to hold a P.H.D. (no offense), which makes the diet concept seem even more dependable to me.

Stephanie Pearson is an enthusiastic paleo/keto researcher and guru, who is young and passionately in the trials, who offers a lot of online keto perspective and training is one of the many nutritionists who realizes the need for meat inclusion, but continues to recognize the importance of the plant inclusions, and is a little crazy – a good thing. She is working with a large base of students, and clients and has some legitimate experience. She falls in the same track as I, it seems of appreciation and interest in all nutritional dynamics and possible inclusions. I may even look to reptiles and insects in the future, and I am beginning lots of mushroom studies now.

Another thing to consider, the most important if you ask me is the ketogenic diet is water depletive, where carbohydrates are more water retentive. Knowing these functions are important factors in more dynamic eating. Originator Phinney mentions in a recent 2017 seminar that sodium is an important component of the diet to slow this, help retention, and relieve many common holdbacks new dieters experience, getting their keto balance honed in.

Nutritionist Dom D’Agostino commented on other side effects of the Ketogenic Diet, such as low IGF1, somewhat a product of too low of protein. He felt a 70% fat diet, is a good place for year-long keto focused dieters.

Another thing to keep in mind is that keto is a new craze, a new trend and a new set of so-called experts will come out with videos full of all sorts of language and research that you really don’t care about and is not focusing in the right direction either, to sell you that they are your best keto-coach. I have watched guys pay into Facebook promotions, and start telling people what alcohols and coffees to get. I would want myself a diet coach if any who said “no stop coffee and alcohol right now.” But I work out for the pretty boy club or bodybuilding, I work out for ability. I want to be as strong as I can be for as light as I can be. I want to have speed power and stamina. I want it all. In that, I am extremely skeptical of anything I hear of businessmen who sell stuff and produce video after video in what I call a ‘hot air operation.’ I catch more lies, and untested or even speculated, regurgitation that I care to dwell on.

Hunter-Gatherer Eskimo

I have completely found the scientific information behind keto, most notably the study of Inuit Indians very fascinating. Keto fat burning has a way of quickly bringing unhealthy people who have been eating wrong back into a healthier range very quickly. It was said of the Inuits that,

“They are large eaters, some of them, especially the women, eating all the time…” …during the winter the Barrow women stirred around very little, did little heavy work, and yet “inclined more to be sparse (thin) than corpulent (fat)” – Dr. John Murdoch

I also believe there is an epigenetic response to taking in more of the environmental factors. I am going for a fuller spectrum of nutritional elements all the time. That’s the real meat of my diet, and goal of the ND diet concept.

Nutritional Ketosis, Ketogenic or ‘Keto’ Diet, a Modern Healing Diet Formula

I have been doing some keto experiments for a couple of years now, it can a bit for the body and the mind to get around the diet, but once that step of carbohydrate withdrawal is passed, the new craze told me why its the new diet craze. In Nutritional Diversity diet, the ultimate diet, keeping the stomach dynamic, and ready to adjust is a top priority. Even if the commitment is a bit much to going full keto, going keto a few times a year or more can play an incredible role in keeping those dynamics sharp. To know more accurately when in ketosis and not, a person can use a keratometer, a blood test with a simple finger prick.

KETO FAQ

Q. Keto dieting was for diabetes right?

A. Dr. Pihnney originally wrote about his work treating diabetes through the Inuit diet, and found ketones in the blood.

Q. What is keto diet?

A. Keto diet aims to obtain calories from fat rather than from carbohydrates. The body starts to break down fat into ketones which serves as primary energy in order to manage weight.

Q. How does a low carbohydrates diet help?

A. Low carb diets can suppress appetite while the body focuses on absorbing proteins and fats.

Q. What is the trick of keto diet in managing weight?

A. Many studies have reached consensus that a diet low in carbohydrates delivers consistently low calories to the body, while reducing appetite at the same time.

Q. How does a keto diet behave initially?

A. Low-carb diets affect more short-term weight loss than low-fat diets. In the long run, this advantage will become less significant.

Q. Where are the primary sites where our body fats are stored?

A. The subcutaneous fat is stored under our skin and visceral fat is stored in our abdominal cavity.

Q. When people suffer from weight problems, which type of fat accounts for most of it?

A. Most of it is coming from the fat accumulated in our abdominal cavity.

Q. What kind of harm this visceral fat can cause to us?

A. Excess visceral fat is related to inflammation and insulin resistance and may subsequently lead to metabolic dysfunction.

Q. How does a low-carb diet assist in this visceral fat issue?

A. Studies have repeatedly shown that a significant fraction of the fat lost on low-carb diets is attributed to this abdominal fat that is known to relate to metabolism problems that may lead to diabetes.

Q. What other difference exists between a low-carb diet and a low-fat diet?

A. Triglycerides are fat molecules that are carried in our bloodstream. Low-carb diets are more effective than low-fat diets at lowering blood triglyceride, which remains a top heart disease risk factor.

Q. How does HDL, so-called good cholesterol come into this picture?

A. Heart disease risk factor hinges on a good balance in favour of HDL, the good cholesterol than LDL, the bad cholesterol in our body. To eat more fats is to build up more HDL in our system and that could be easily achieved by eating a low-carb diet rather than cutting down on fat.

Q. Is keto diet helping people who suffer from insulin resistance and diabetes?

A. Many studies have concluded that reducing carbs lowers blood sugar and insulin levels significantly.

Q. Is ketogenic diet beneficial to regulation of blood pressure?

A. High blood pressure or hypertension is a major risk factor for many diseases, such as heart disease, stroke and kidney failure. A low-carb diet will substantially reduce blood pressure as well.

Q. Does low-carb diet play any role in fighting against some brain disorders?

A. Our brain functions well by using a lot of glucose and ketones. Our liver will immediately process and make available glucose if our diet consists of a low percentage of carbohydrates. Likewise, ketones are produced when we are starved of carbohydrates in our consumption. This has been one of the traditional treatments for children suffering from epilepsy. Research efforts have been devoted to studying the effect of low carb diet on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.

Q. What is Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and how does a low keto diet help?

A. PCOS is a hormonal disorder that can build up excess male hormones and lead to ovulatory dysfunction, and polycystic ovaries. A ketogenics diet alleviates certain symptoms of PCOS, including weight loss, hormonal balance, and ratios of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone.

Q. What is keto flu?

A. Initially, as our body starts to cut down on carb stores and tries to use ketones and fat for fuel flu-like symptoms, including headaches, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, and constipation can appear. This happens due to dehydration and electrolyte imbalances introduced by ketogenics diet.

Q. Is a low-carb and high fat diet causing stress on kidneys?

A. Consuming a lot of animal fat on the keto diet can contribute to more acidic urine and elevate the risk of kidney stones. This acidic state can as well steer the progression off course of chronic kidney disease.

Q. Could keto diet cause constipation or poor digestive health?

A. Low carb diet also means low in fiber. This has a negative impact on our gut bacteria. One study indicated that 65% of research subjects reported constipation as a popular side effect.

Q. Could keto diet lead to nutrition deficiency?

A. As the keto diet restricts several foods, such as high nutrient fruits, whole grains, and legumes, it may not be sufficient to provide recommended portions of vitamins and minerals. In the long run this may lead to nutrient deficiencies.

Q. What other precautions should we bear in mind when switching to a keto diet?

A. Type 1 diabetes sufferers may be at a higher risk of low blood sugar with symptoms such as confusion, shakiness, fatigue, and sweating. Severe low levels of blood sugar can lead to coma and death if left untreated.

KETO RECAP

🌿 A New Age of Nutrition Is Here

Most nutritionists don’t know how nutrition is actually cultivated in nature.
They don’t understand ecosystems — they understand isolated compounds.
They don’t build vitality — they prescribe boxes.

Much like modern agriculture, today’s nutrition field is dominated by shortcuts and chemicals. Synthetic vitamins, mass-produced crops, sterile soils, and monoculture mindsets. These systems cheat nature — and nature always pushes back.

The consequences?
Wrecked soil. Broken guts. Fragile immune systems. A sick planet and a sick population.
Not just humans — but animals, microbes, insects, and even fungi are caught in the backlash.

💥 We Are Building a Better Way

At Nutritional Diversity, we don’t accept that.
We’ve outperformed mainstream systems — in the jungle, in the gym, in healing, in every measure that counts.

We are now entering the supplement space not to compete… but to replace.
We will use today’s manufacturing only as a bridge — our long-term mission is to build a completely new:

  • Sourcing network

Imagine If 20% of the Population Took Action Today: A Vision for Nutritional Diversity and Land Restoration

A Future Shaped by Small Alternative Agricultures

Imagine if, starting today, one in five people took up the challenge of cultivating small-scale alternative agriculture—permaculture food forests, regenerative farms, nutrient-dense wild plots, and biodiverse gardens—all designed to support the Nutritional Diversity Diet.

Where would we be in five, ten, or twenty years?

Five Years: The Awakening of the Land

  • Millions of small plots, backyards, and vacant lands transformed into living, breathing ecosystems.
  • Urban and rural landscapes are interwoven with perennial food systems, soil-building crops, and high-density nutrition.
  • Local communities regaining food sovereignty, free from chemical-dependent supply chains.
  • A new generation of eco-entrepreneurs emerges, pioneering micro-farms that thrive on biodiversity, not monoculture.

Ten Years: The Turning Point

  • Soil once depleted by industrial agriculture now teeming with life, enriched by microbial diversity.
  • A shift in global nutrition: Gut health improves, disease rates drop, and food security becomes decentralized.
  • Rivers and oceans heal as synthetic fertilizers and agricultural runoff disappear.
  • AI-driven ecological monitoring and drone-assisted reforestation bring back lost biodiversity.
  • Carbon sequestration skyrockets as trees, fungi, and regenerative landscapes capture atmospheric carbon at scale.

Twenty Years: A Thriving Regenerative Civilization

  • Industrial farming is replaced by hyper-diverse, closed-loop food systems.
  • A self-sustaining, nutritionally complete ecosystem supports human health and planetary stability.
  • No longer a “niche practice,” biodiverse agriculture becomes the foundation of global food production.
  • The climate stabilizes, deserts are reclaimed, and the world breathes in balance with nature.
  • Humanity lives longer, stronger, and more harmoniously, nourished by food systems that heal instead of harm.

Call to Action: The Time Is Now

This is not a distant dream—it is a blueprint for action. With the right support, incentives, and knowledge-sharing networks, we can make this vision a reality.

We propose the Nutritional Diversity Ecological Enhancement Initiative, a scalable, measurable, and globally replicable system to:
✅ Provide tools, education, and guidance to small-scale land stewards.
✅ Establish financial and technological support for high-diversity micro-farms.
✅ Integrate AI, drone technology, and microbial soil innovations for rapid ecosystem regeneration.
✅ Create global food security by focusing on nutrient density over yield quantity.
✅ Develop decentralized marketplaces, ensuring farmers thrive economically while enhancing ecosystems.

We invite partners, visionaries, and world leaders to be part of this movement—to fund, support, and ignite a regenerative revolution.

🌱 The first seeds of change are ready to be planted. Will you be among the first to grow the future?

What Happens When We Take Action?

When 20% of the population actively participates in alternative agriculture and land regeneration, we initiate a chain reaction—one that transforms food systems, ecosystems, human health, and even the global economy.

Phase 1: The Shift Begins (Years 1-5)

  • People reclaim land—from vacant lots to degraded soil, rooftops to backyards—turning them into diverse, regenerative food systems.
  • Microbial restoration kicks in as synthetic inputs are abandoned in favor of probiotic soil amendments, composting, and mycoremediation.
  • Communities reconnect through local food exchanges, cooperative farming models, and educational hubs that teach Nutritional Diversity principles.
  • Corporate agriculture feels the shift—as millions of people begin sourcing food from local, nutrient-dense, chemical-free alternatives.
  • Consumer health improves as gut microbiomes are restored, chronic disease rates decline, and processed food dependency weakens.

Phase 2: The Turning Point (Years 5-10)

  • A new agricultural economy emerges, where small-scale, biodiverse farms outperform industrial monocultures in nutrition, sustainability, and resilience.
  • Desertified lands begin to heal, carbon is pulled from the atmosphere, and regenerative land practices stabilize microclimates.
  • Big agriculture is forced to adapt—industries pivot to regenerative practices or face extinction as decentralized food systems thrive.
  • Nutritional intelligence spreads, with functional medicine and whole-food-based nutrition becoming the global standard.
  • Biodiversity explodes—pollinators, wildlife, and native plants return, forming self-sustaining ecosystems within human environments.

Phase 3: A Regenerative Future (Years 10-20)

  • Human health reaches a new peak, with stronger immune systems, fewer metabolic diseases, and a lifespan extended by decades through nutrient-rich diets.
  • The climate crisis reverses itself, as forests, soil, and mycorrhizal networks become major carbon sinks, cooling the planet naturally.
  • Oceans heal, as agricultural runoff ceases, marine food chains restore, and dead zones shrink.
  • New economic powerhouses emerge, built on regenerative production, decentralized supply chains, and abundance-based commerce.
  • Governments and corporations embrace the movement, integrating nutritional diversity farming and ecosystem repair into global policy.

The Inevitable Future—If We Act Now

This isn’t speculation—this will happen if enough people take action. The first adopters set the stage, and as results multiply, the movement scales exponentially.

The Nutritional Diversity Ecological Enhancement Initiative is designed to facilitate, accelerate, and scale this transformation.

👉 We have the tools. We have the knowledge. We have the opportunity.

🔥 The only question is: How fast do we want this future to arrive?

….. another question could be can we implement through the younger generation and video games!???
