Saunas Steam Rooms, Ice Baths – Temperature Training

My steam room and sauna technicals are like this.

I start towel on the bench laying on the bench because here you are at low-midlevel heat for the room. I keep my eyes closed in case of hot condensation water droplets, and I relax and stretch a minute to adjust.

Slowly carefully I will stand then step onto the bench, allowing my head to be at the hottest level.

Once I can’t take any more, I step down.

Once I can’t take that anymore I rest in push-ups or push-up position (floor-level), which because heat rises is always noticeably easier to deal with.

Then I stand again and rest again and stand again until I just can’t do it anymore. Depending on temperature this lasts anywhere from  two to five minutes.
