Peanuts – The Economical Legume

peanut-nutritional-diversityI want to go over peanuts, because they are the cheap nuts. Today unfortunately I must attach a monetary consideration to each of these wonderful plants. Also, being on the poor team, I must provide viable information for Nutritional Diversities considering peanuts because of budget.

Diet Economics

Did I mention money kills everything? Interestingly yesterday a guest at our Bocas del Toro, Panama Vacation Home, who was a professional in Finance from Spain but working in Mexico City, explained to me that he and his friends did make good money, but that the money itself noticeably killed the value in their lives, and they, “miss realness.” He went on to say that the community of finance provided for fake and hollow friendships, and that having alot of money itself presented difficult challenges and opportunities for negative vices.

Well money kills the value of our food too. We make GMO toxic foods, mass production mono-cultures that ruin the earth, and transport toxic pesticides such as glyphosate (Round-up) to 80% of Americans living in the U.S., all to address profit considerations of greedy individuals.

The peanut has suffered greatly the devaluation of being genetically altered by an owner of another species, an alteration that will possibly out live the original ‘God-given,’ or ‘real’ specie. Does money, or rather the ability to control others through paper, threaten our species this way? Is the word threat a bit late?

Peanuts are an opportunity to discuss the idea of consumer care in the way that consumers who read this may be able to encourage farmer friends to search out and grow and protect original organic unmodified strains of peanuts. Nutritional Diversifists are inherent life preservationists. 😀

Peanut Nutrition

The A. duranensis and A. ipaensis hybrid now mainstream use Arachis hypogaea, legume crop is known mainly for their edible seeds we know as peanuts. In 2014 worldwide humans consumed forty two million tons of peanuts. Peanut pods develop underground, and produce more nitrogen rich peanut grass and flowers up top making them useful in compost, crop rotations, nitrogen-fixing. Peanuts are believed to have originated 8000 years ago in South America. Incan, and other pre-Colombian civilizations such as the Moche, featured peanuts in their art.  The entire plant is edible.

Peanuts are great sources of energy, an essential oils for the body. Certain groups likely because of cost and the well rounded nutritional potency of peanuts in treating malnutrition.

Peanut oils have been show to help reduce bad cholesterol and prevent coronary disease.

Peanuts contain phytochemicals and dietary fibers much like other nuts, even though technically, the peanut is a legume.

High in vitamin E and others and rich in minerals, peanuts can be helpful for skin, hair, digestive track, and re-mineralization / hydration field tactics. Some believe peanuts help stop grey hair, and naturally whiten teeth.

Nutritional Diversity Recommends – Peanuts

1). Find organic non-GMO peanuts grown by an inspect-able permaculture source, that hopefully is a friend. peanut-nutrition-facts-nd2Support this farm by sharing the excellent food source with all your friends, who will appreciate the knowledge and source ability you have to offer about the awesome food. Getting shelled peanuts is best, because un-shelled, peanuts are usually packed in fluoridated salt, and hydrogenated vegetable oil which basically is the same as saying “gut destruction oil.”

2). Use peanuts lightly, no more than 1/2 cup at a time, and hopefully mixed in with a Nutritional Diversity of other specie, in a recommended incremental food serving size. I don’t recommend using more than 1 cup of peanuts a day, and this is because while great for cases of malnutrition, the high levels of manganese, fat, iron and a few other ingredients which I feel should be monitored and leveled for optimal results.

3). Peanuts are great mixed in a good stocky trail mix, and carry well in the hiking pack for an effective energy boost, oil (blood joints, stomach skin, hair, eyes, brain – everything) support, and rough material / fiber for stomach regularity; also chew some peanuts on the run following a protein shake to break up the powder a bit in the stomach.  Of course if you can tear off a few-to-thirty green species and add those in, each one the better.

I am gonna keep it short and to the point here on peanuts, and refer to read an article about a great go along (and all three together) with meats, eggs, and or avocado. This combination follows one of many dynamic thought possibilities in Nutritional Diversity science; that foods of certain saturation type such as fats, amino acids, and essential oils be consumed around the same time, instructing the body to focus in on and use the specific saturation types more effectively and efficiently. Executive Summary

The Nutritional Diversity Ecological Enhancement Program (NDEEP) is a revolutionary ecological restoration initiative designed to combat biodiversity loss, improve soil and ocean health, regenerate degraded ecosystems, and enhance climate resilience through highly diverse, self-sustaining agricultural and ‘rewilding systems.’

By utilizing probiotic-rich soil amendments, permaculture and biodynamic principles, drone-assisted reforestation, and AI-guided ecological mapping, this program aims to enhance existing ecologies, restore degraded lands, regenerate biodiversity hotspots, and create nutrient-rich food systems that support both human health and planetary recovery.

With over 12 years of experience in alternative agriculture and other natural studies across Latin America, I have developed an innovative system that restores depleted soils, promotes high-yield organic cultivation, and revitalizes native ecosystems while simultaneously improving human nutrition. I have a diverse team of incredible individuals and new site locations ready to go!

This project aligns with GEF-8’s core priorities by:

  • Restoring biodiversity and reversing species loss through highly diverse, ecosystem-based agricultural models.
  • Mitigating climate change by increasing carbon sequestration through reforestation and regenerative farming practices.
  • Combating pollution and soil degradation by eliminating synthetic inputs and using organic, microbial-enhanced composting.
  • Enhancing ocean and water health by preventing agricultural runoff and rehabilitating aquatic ecosystems with algae-based filtration systems.

The NDEEP is scalable, measurable, and designed to be replicated globally, making it a high-impact project for the World Bank’s ecological and sustainable development goals.


Project Objectives

  1. Biodiversity Regeneration & Ecological Enhancement

    • Reintroduce native plant species in degraded areas.
    • Integrate wildlife corridors and pollinator-friendly zones.
    • Use drone-assisted seed dispersal to accelerate reforestation.
    • Establish permanent bioactive soil systems to revitalize degraded farmland.
  2. Carbon Sequestration & Climate Resilience

    • Implement permaculture and food forest models that act as long-term carbon sinks.
    • Restore mangrove forests, peatlands, and coastal ecosystems to protect against flooding and erosion.
    • Develop high-diversity cropping methods to increase resilience against droughts and extreme weather.
  3. Pollution & Soil Regeneration

    • Replace synthetic fertilizers and pesticides with probiotic soil amendments and microbial biofertilizers.
    • Utilize natural mycoremediation (fungi-based) systems to detoxify soils contaminated by industrial waste.
    • Implement closed-loop composting cycles to transform organic waste into high-yield soil nutrients.

The NDEEP initiative will be piloted in Latin America, leveraging 12 years of experience across Panama, Colombia, and Argentina. Initial target regions include:

  • We have an ecological wonder site we found one year ago in a uniquely perfect for one type of implementation and two other ready-to-go areas from the private sector, we would be happy to collaborate in as many microclimates as possible.
  • Deforested tropical areas in Panama → Reforestation with agroforestry and permaculture models.
  • Coastal ecosystems in Colombia → Restoration of mangrove forests and oceanic biodiversity zones.
  • Degraded agricultural lands in Argentina → Conversion to probiotic soil regeneration and permaculture farming.

Future expansions will include Southeast Asia, Africa, and North America to scale the impact globally.


Implementation Plan & Timeline

Funding Request

To successfully implement the pilot phase, we request $10 million USD from the World Bank’s GEF-8 funding cycle, allocated as follows:

  • $3M → Land restoration, reforestation, and agroforestry projects.
  • $2.5M → Technological deployment (AI monitoring, drones, and blockchain tracking).
  • $2M → Research on nutritional diversity’s impact on biodiversity and human health.
  • $1.5M → Community training and education programs.
  • $1M → Administrative, operational, and logistics costs.

With this funding, the Nutritional Diversity Ecological Enhancement Program will establish a scalable model for global environmental recovery, creating lasting impact on biodiversity, climate resilience, and human health.
