Peanuts – The Economical Legume
I want to go over peanuts, because they are the cheap nuts. Today unfortunately I must attach a monetary consideration to each of these wonderful plants. Also, being on the poor team, I must provide viable information for Nutritional Diversities considering peanuts because of budget.
Diet Economics
Did I mention money kills everything? Interestingly yesterday a guest at our Bocas del Toro, Panama Vacation Home, who was a professional in Finance from Spain but working in Mexico City, explained to me that he and his friends did make good money, but that the money itself noticeably killed the value in their lives, and they, “miss realness.” He went on to say that the community of finance provided for fake and hollow friendships, and that having alot of money itself presented difficult challenges and opportunities for negative vices.
Well money kills the value of our food too. We make GMO toxic foods, mass production mono-cultures that ruin the earth, and transport toxic pesticides such as glyphosate (Round-up) to 80% of Americans living in the U.S., all to address profit considerations of greedy individuals.
The peanut has suffered greatly the devaluation of being genetically altered by an owner of another species, an alteration that will possibly out live the original ‘God-given,’ or ‘real’ specie. Does money, or rather the ability to control others through paper, threaten our species this way? Is the word threat a bit late?

Peanut Nutrition
The A. duranensis and A. ipaensis hybrid now mainstream use Arachis hypogaea, legume crop is known mainly for their edible seeds we know as peanuts. In 2014 worldwide humans consumed forty two million tons of peanuts. Peanut pods develop underground, and produce more nitrogen rich peanut grass and flowers up top making them useful in compost, crop rotations, nitrogen-fixing. Peanuts are believed to have originated 8000 years ago in South America. Incan, and other pre-Colombian civilizations such as the Moche, featured peanuts in their art. The entire plant is edible.
Peanuts are great sources of energy, an essential oils for the body. Certain groups likely because of cost and the well rounded nutritional potency of peanuts in treating malnutrition.
Peanut oils have been show to help reduce bad cholesterol and prevent coronary disease.
Peanuts contain phytochemicals and dietary fibers much like other nuts, even though technically, the peanut is a legume.
High in vitamin E and others and rich in minerals, peanuts can be helpful for skin, hair, digestive track, and re-mineralization / hydration field tactics. Some believe peanuts help stop grey hair, and naturally whiten teeth.
Nutritional Diversity Recommends – Peanuts
1). Find organic non-GMO peanuts grown by an inspect-able permaculture source, that hopefully is a friend. Support this farm by sharing the excellent food source with all your friends, who will appreciate the knowledge and source ability you have to offer about the awesome food. Getting shelled peanuts is best, because un-shelled, peanuts are usually packed in fluoridated salt, and hydrogenated vegetable oil which basically is the same as saying “gut destruction oil.”
2). Use peanuts lightly, no more than 1/2 cup at a time, and hopefully mixed in with a Nutritional Diversity of other specie, in a recommended incremental food serving size. I don’t recommend using more than 1 cup of peanuts a day, and this is because while great for cases of malnutrition, the high levels of manganese, fat, iron and a few other ingredients which I feel should be monitored and leveled for optimal results.
3). Peanuts are great mixed in a good stocky trail mix, and carry well in the hiking pack for an effective energy boost, oil (blood joints, stomach skin, hair, eyes, brain – everything) support, and rough material / fiber for stomach regularity; also chew some peanuts on the run following a protein shake to break up the powder a bit in the stomach. Of course if you can tear off a few-to-thirty green species and add those in, each one the better.
I am gonna keep it short and to the point here on peanuts, and refer to read an article about a great go along (and all three together) with meats, eggs, and or avocado.
