Harvesting

The harvest is a sacred time. Never forget that.

Before you reach for that leaf, or that fruit take a moment to awe in how it came from sun and water, and a divine and conscious commandment and continued assistance to exist for our taking. Think of the birds and the bees, and the other trees, and the fungi, and this incredible life cycle comprised of thousands of diligent sacrificing workers devoted to nature that are responsible for this piece of delight.

Certainly a fair, balanced and intelligent man, would hold a prayer in his heart of thanks to the great spirit, and the many who work in his light bringing forth the spiritual journey we are all on, while passing through a biological point in growth, learning and experience in front his brilliant art of nature.

Plants don’t need to be killed, like they are in major modern agriculture systems. Roots and stalks regrow, and leaves can be taken rather than the entire plant.

Animals inherently because of their similarity to us, drive the idea that thanks should really be given when the need to take the animals life becomes necessary for us to survive and thrive.

The blood of animals effects the growth of plants intensely.  It’s almost like the site or the close proximity of the blood triggers a shock growth for the plant, more so than a hard workout in the gym following weeks of inactivity does for us.

Plants have the ability to charge their material for harvest with certain essences for certain people, based on their needs, and what they deserve or do not deserve. Ancient healers were believed to be authorized by plants and when they would harvest the medicine, it would be medicine, and sometimes other less respected by the plant world individuals could harvest a non functional medicine from the very same source.
